Macros are for ******. Real men click for each bullet.

So you click for each Typhoon bullet?

It's fully auto.

Macros for semi-autos are cheating in my book.

But then again, so is using flamer, playing GI and using the reegar.

Using a Lolreegar IS cheating and should be considered a bannable offense.

Yea, you're not the best standard.

Still, using aim-bot, or getting a macro to fire your gun for you.... I don't really see much difference.

A macro spares me from losing my finger. I can click really fast, just not for a few games straight. And if you can't tell the difference between using a macro that only activates when you use it and an aimbot flinging your bullets off to every enemy's head, your either hopped up on hyperbole or trolling. Or think we're all Jay.

Sentiment stands: you're using something pre-coded to push your performance past the level you can obtain using your fingers / peripherals ergo; macros are cheating by my standard.

honestly you really don't need the macro legitimate or not most of the stuff dies fast when I use Mattock with no macro at all. All my clicks register fine I have like a half second between clicks.

There are better guns, so I don't see the problem.

The macro I use is set to 10 clicks per second, but the Mattock doesn't fire faster using that than I could clicking myself. Point stands, the only advantage I gain is my finger not dying.

Saw this and tried the idea. Logitech mouse here, so I can pretty much do the same thing.

The macro:Left mouse button down0.01sec delayLeft mouse button up(Repeat while pressed with 0ms delay)

Works great. Only problem is, I can't shift my aim due to the 'clicking' using up all the data :D
As such, this is only usable vs very slow bosses. So, not quite viable for general usage. Good idea though.

i have a logitec g700 and the driver has macro, so ive been using "hold to repeat" the mouse 1 up/down.

cheating? no, im not going to buy a 3rd mouse because someone wants me to click 9 million times.
already wore out 1 mouse on just ME3, so im not shelling out near another $100.

still have to aim and still regular click to fire most guns except for the few, which case i would only use those( matlock and such) for challenges anyway.

besides all that, wouldnt it be silly to tell people they cant use gaming mice in a specific game?

i got all the extra buttons so should i be called a cheater cause i can use my consumables by slightly pressing my thumb on the mouse rather than using my index finger on the keyboard?

i even have a button on my mouse to spam the space bar, so when im downed i dont have to constanly hit my space bar.
besides after so many presses the spacebar stops extending the life meter anyway.
so all im doing is removing the hassle.

btw sounds like with that macro you wouldnt be able to use charge up guns and would have to disable it, so i guess you could say its kinda balanced heh.

so, ya i dont agree with it being a cheat.

Not sure if someone mentioned it before, but I'm pretty sure that this mouse:
www.razerzone.com/me3/imperator
is macro capable. If Mass Effect approves it, then it's obvious macros are legal. Or maybe I should buy the it but not use it's features? Think not

Decided to try out a rapid fire macro.
Using Logitech G9x, I made secondary thumb button as autofire ,3 shot bursts with 50ms delay between actions per click and continous fire if held down.
Full auto seems to turn mattock in to a monster for close range, but the accuracy takes a big hit. Bursts instead are very useful.
Overall, it's still no match for Harrier

Macros and mods are generally considered cheating if it makes you autonomous in any manner. This is one of the whole reasons RoF caps were introduced in MP games/games in general.

That being said.. good gawd you guys use some old **** macro tools. New to the Internet?

Yeah, is there a much simpler way to auto fire in this game over the overcomplicated nonsense in this OP requiring much wasted time on something that could probably be explained and done in a much simpler way?

I know some FPS's like borderlands 2, you can bind the shooting key to the mouse wheel, I haven't tried it for ME3 although.

Also, dat necro.

Yeah, I know. It came up in a google search. Sorry about that.

And I can't set it to mouse scroll because I play ME3mp on PC with a wired X-Box 360 Controller that also allows me to use my wireless Turtle Beach headset mic with it too. So I need a simple program or Mgamerz mod that can make the default fire button toggled to auto fire.

Macro for firing the Mattock is lame.  Of course there are different ways to do it than in this thread.

Well it looks simple enough, but still can't get to to auto click the left mouse button. Like I downloaded something bogus.

Haven't used it in ages, have to wait til I get home later to see how I have it set up. After you run it you have to click the box that says 13 and then click whatever button you want to auto fire, then when that button is held down it does the auto fire.
