PC version DA2. Just loaded up my saved game from before patch 1.03 to play Mark of the Assassin (which I downloaded last night) and my game has been updated to the latest patch.
I’m not happy with that, I’ve fined tuned my playing style on nightmare and find a whole bunch of stuff has been changed (good for some of course but shouldn’t be forced on others that don’t want the changes).
1. Can I uninstall the latest patch ?
2. Can I play MofA without the latest patch ?
3. If I reload DA2 from my CD, can I disable auto patch updates ?
Is it possible to unistall latest patch (or disable patch updates)

1. Yes, do a system restore to a point before you patched or uninstall and re-install the game.
2. Yes.
3. You cannot stop it form telling you there is an update but, you do not have to install the update.

I got back to version 1.02 but as soon as I reloaded MofA the first thing it did was load patch 1.03…
Tried applying patch 1.02 again but MofA comes up ‘disabled’ when I tried running it under 1.02
Sounds like MofA requires 1.03 to run. Stuffed !
