When I first turned on the game after buying it, the Da Journey items..( I had the belt) and then the lucky stone ring.. (I forgot where that one came from.) were right there in my downloadable content already.. I can't remember if I had to actually download them or not though. Of course since that first night playing I've always gotten the "can't connect to da server error" I'm thinking that'll have to be fixed before I can get the dagger.. but who knows.

Ooops...my apologies for that.

I should have mentioned that I was talking about the 360 version, and not the PC. The term 'booting' just sprang into mind as being an appropriate way of saying started the game.

Again, sorry for causing confusion with that....

Well the guy from the uk said he got it.. so they are probably doing it by region... I don't really know what that means or how long it will take for U.S. users to get it.

Actually they are probably doing it person by person.. sifting through the website to see who registered on what date and only handing out the dagger to one person a day..I'll be getting the dagger in 2 years and 21 days.

Am in the UK and I don't have it as yet....however on the UK Dragon Age site it says you only get it if you registered your game between 24th-30th Nov which is a bummer.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I guess doing it that way would facilitate distribution, while saving on server bandwidth.

Anyway when I started up the game and loaded a save a few mins ago it told me some bs about the information I gave them may be invalid or something

I got mine today! Fired up DAO and saw New Downloadable Content and got the edge. Works out good since I'm playing my newest rogue, and have been set on sticking with daggers only this time through. Thanks Bio!

It's showing up under my registered game promotions now on bioware.social. I registered my game at 8pm est on 11/30 so it looks like if there really was a deadline it must have been midnight 11/30. Now i can go off in happiness and dual wield with my new character to my heart's content. Here comes the coup de grace!

If this thing wasn't free I would feel jipped though , its bland looking but the icon for it in the DLC section is gorgeous and has a red gem on it but this... this is plain as it gets.... but oh well it was free and is a great stat dagger

You would think that +5 damage would be amazing , but I don't do that much better damage with the thing actually

I still do not have it. I registered the game on the 25th I believe. Its not showing up on my dlc menu ingame nor on the website. I have logged onto multiple characters and still no luck. I live 4 hours away from the Bioware HQ in Canada, so I think I just got skipped or something. Whenever I play the game it says "Cannot connect to profile. Information given may be invalid". I believe that is bogus seeing as my character is updated on the website.

What does it mean by registered? I think I registered my copy of the game... Is that the code on the back of the manual that you enter on the EA site? If so then I did register it. But is there any way to see when you registered your copy of the game?

Edit: Nevermind. I was checking through my emails and I missed one that said "Thank you for registering your game with us". This email was sent on Nov 28th so I hope I am in the clear.

I hoping of getting it,but ea website really screw my whit this.I created my account there they send my a email to actavate it but it dissable it then 2 days of not be able to get on it to change my status (because they add trouble whit there website on that section..)so could not actavate the account here until this morning geez and actavate my game around 7:30PM on the 30 at EA.
Wondering what are my chance of getting it:(:(.
