"Building on their research, Exec Producer Casey Hudson and the team are hard at work on a number of game content initiatives that will help answer the questions, providing more clarity for those seeking further closure to their journey. You’ll hear more on this in April. We’re working hard to maintain the right balance between the artistic integrity of the original story while addressing the fan feedback we’ve received. This is in addition to our existing plan to continue providing new Mass Effect content and new full games, so rest assured that your journey in the Mass Effect universe can, and will, continue."

is the really important paragraph.

Closure!? I don't care about no stinkin' closure!

The problem here is how astonshingly ridiculous and nonsensical the ending is. I was literally staring at my TV wondering why BioWare would write such a brilliant game for the first 19 hours, then nuke the lore and create plot holes large enough that entire planets could get through them.

Gah, I'll stop there...

Seems reasonable. Not sure to believe or dismiss as PR spin. Want to believe.

So, that means they really wanted us to accept that NO SENSE ending?

C´mon, ppl now gave them the Indoc Theory that is by far the most incrible answer to how the game "ended".

I kinda stopped caring when he said "Critics have given us a good review!"

Critics =/= Fans.

Nah, they are working on it maybe is what it im pulling. He also goes on to talk about their reviews, artisitc integrity defense, and how the fan feed back has "
Some of the criticism that has been delivered in the heat of passion by our most ardent fans, even if founded on valid principles, such as seeking more clarity to questions or looking for more closure, for example – has unfortunately become destructive rather than constructive. "

Well that didn't really say anything. Nice to have a response, sure. But it seems a lot of walking around the issue here. Waiting until April it is. ''so rest assured that your journey in the Mass Effect universe can, and will, continue.'' worries me a little however, it sounds to me like they have no intention to do anything about the current ending.

Seems like more PR spin. But the fact that Bioware's own founder attached his name to this debacle is proof that we are being heard.

Keep talking. Keep Facebooking. Keep Tweeting. Spread the word on this!

We listen and will respond to constructive criticism, but much as we will not tolerate individual attacks on our team members, we will not support or respond to destructive commentary."

Painting people who don't like the ending as bad guys, like atghunter said.

"On one hand, some of our loyal fans are passionately expressing their displeasure about how their game concluded; we care about this feedback, and we’re planning to directly address it. However, most folks appear to agree that the game as a whole is exceptional, with more than 75 critics giving it a perfect review score and a review average in the mid-90s."

For those of you that are going to jump on this statement; know that it's always corporate attitude to never admit massive defeat, or rather leadership attitude in general. If you have been in fact beaten quite badly, it's better for the evidence to speak for itself and to keep silent. These are the two attitudes we've been seeing lately. Don't jump on this, read the entire thing.

The only question I've got here is to what their research methods are in analyzing our feedback. I highly doubt they have time to read 100% of everyone's spiel. Word filters? Hordes of un/paid interns?
