A simple way would to send out a poll through the Alliance News network in-game across the three different platforms, showing up for people who have completed the game atleast once.
This way BioWare could get a pretty accurate result of how people think about the ending for their triology.
There are some notable things that may interfere with the end results, since now that people have started completed the game, yet there hasent been an official statement from BW if they plan to do something, several retailers have started to give out full-refunds to the game if the consumer did not find that the ending lived up to their expectations(In addition to all the lies BioWare fed to us regarding how the ending would turn out(And false advertisments for products are illegal))
There are people who play without internet connection, but majority of people who can afford the game and the console tend to have internet connetion.(This can be seen in different ways)
In addition, payed-off sites *Cough*IGN*cough* could not complain about how the ''vocal minority'' as they describe it, has voiced their opinion on that they did not like the ending, and belive it should be changed to please the fans expectations, in addition to bringing the game back to ''Mass Effect quality'', If i may use this term.
This would clearly give BioWare the idea of how the status of the fanbase's view of the ending looks.
