Is the "Leviathan of Dis" that's briefly mentioned in ME2 a 1 billion year old Reaper?
I believe the information given towards the Leviathan (can not
find a citation) was leaning more towards it being a ship of a previous
civilization.
It's "genetically engineered" rather than a machine like the
other known Reapers. But then again it's a "living" starship. Who knows.
And it appears in ME1 by the way.
If I remember correctly, *** ME2 SPOILERS*** this is brought up
in a dialog between Shepard and TIM before he sends you on that bull$#!t
mission where you investigate the collector vessel that a turian patrol
supposedly took out. You get it after you finish recruiting Thane,
Samara, and Tali. Anyways... "Leviathan of Dis" IS a"dead" reaper
that was shot by an ancient mass accellerator by a pre-prothean species
and which also caused the great rift on Klendagon. Further, im pretty
sure the Leviathan(dead Reaper) is where you go to for the Reaper IFF.
Nope, different ship. The leviathan was the one the batarians swooped away after the salarians found it. Completely other thing.
^^ Swooping is bad
It's confirmed by Cerberus Daily News that the Leviathan of Dis
was the corpse of an ancient, genetically engineered living starship,
that it was found on a planet's surface and that it was small enough for
the Batarians to steal it using a dreadnought. This confirms that the
Leviathan is definitely not the Derilict Reaper and, since it's organic,
it is not any type of reaper at all
Reapers are machines, while Leviathan was a organic ship. Sadly,
that would mean that then Leviathan was not a Reaper. But how
interesting would it be if the two, Reapers, and the Leviathan, had the
same origan? Like first came Leviathan, and his organic ship brothers,
and those who made the Leviathan, made the Reapers.
^Very unlikely. Reapers are made of organic and inorganic materials btw.
^ Sounds a bit like a Rachni vessel, to be honest. I can't image
them having mettallic compounds to work with, so I imagine they might
have grown ships. Dirigible.
What comes to my mind are the living ships that the Yuuzhan Vong
used in the Star Wars EU. I wonder if Bioware is considering a Mass
Effect/Star Wars crossover game.

Bist du Balak in ME3 begegnet? Der bestätigt, dass der Leviathan ein Reaper war. Hat übrigens mit den Köpfen der batarianischen Wissenschaftler rumgespielt und die Eroberung von Kar'shan ziemlich erleichtert.
