I don't understand why people jump to the conclusion that the ending won't change entirely , it is possible , so how ur saying that the rumors aren't really hinting at a completely changed ending , it also doesn't tell u that it won't be . So before u go around trying to justify a reason to why u still won't play it after the DLC , take a second and think what COULD happen.

I enjoy it enough, I do worry about months/years down the line when people aren't playing it anymore. Seems like that will be a hassle for single player. Though a quite patch that lets the N7 missions effect galactic readiness down the line would solve that issue.

Because Ray just said it won't.
Making things clearer and providing more closure does not translate into completely rewriting the ending, not by a long shot.

On my second play through, I enjoyed the rest of the game beyond the final 3 minutes.

 Just hold the line! Don't buckle and buy the pre-ending DLC crap they've been planning to pawn off us for the last few months. We know that Sheopards dead and most of the galaxy lis in ruins. We know now that nothing you do in any pre-ending DLC will have any effect at all. Sure they'll probably pop in some small part saying "oh look we found a way to destroy the relays without causing supernova's" or have Shepard tell Joker. "You know if things ever really look bad promise me you'll take the rest of the crew and just bug out, no matter what,. Thats a order!

  Sorry having more pay for content that leads to the same terrible ending Is just another slap in the face.

It's *POSSIBLE*, but that's not what was mentioned. Yes, it remains a possibility, it's just that nothing whatsoever was mentioned on that. We were told that content of some sort relating to the ending will be released. That could be comics, DLC epilogue slideshows "fallout" style, etc.

Anyway, on topic: I will not be replaying the game soon. There are a lot of things on my mind and it is best if I let myself justify a second playthrough, which will take some time.

Seriously, how do you interpret this statement by Ray:

"Exec Producer Casey Hudson and the team are hard at work on a number of game content initiatives that will help answer the questions, providing more clarity for those seeking further closure to their journey."

It doesn't sound like a rewrite. It sounds like the colors will be explained better.

I don't see how this fixes the replayability issue. Or does it?

Huh? I keep hearing this, but it doesn't make sense. Mass effect drives still work even if the relays are gone. Unless there are no garden worlds anywhere near Omega, they'll be fine.

  Hell i bought all 3 games its funny to watch the 11% (or less depending on what poll you check) that liked the endings tell the MAJORITY of players to go away or STFU and keep feeding Bioware more money like it or not. Hope you plan on buying lots and lots of copies to keep bioware afloat.

   Before you start saying the Majority likes the ending please just do a few googles on the polls about the ending. Also yes maybe i do have some hope that Bioware will wake up and care about their fanbase after all so shoot me.

Did a second playthrough on insanity and I can't get past Mr. Marauder Shields.  And. I am quite content with that
