I've said this on a couple of threads, fighting omongst ourselfs is not going to solve anything. If anything its only helping bioware take advantage of the weakness and turn ppl into a swarming frenzy. I do agree with the OP here, take what the co-founder says with a positive look on it though, but at the same time with a grain of salt. there is no solid statement saying that its going to be content that alters/changes the ending. keep holding the line till all the problems are addressed. they seem to only have mentioned closuer and failed to see or mention the rest of the stated issues with the ending. dont remain quite till april, that just gives it time for ppl to forget and move on, thats something that cant be done. keep at them, but in a peaceful and respectful manner. we are not children. most of us i'm pretty sure are young adults and older, lets act like it and solve the problem like civilizied ppl that we are. To reply to the co-founder on the comment of "this is art". This is true, any game or book or movie can be considered art and the creators have the final say in the matter be it for the best or not. though I'm pretty sure if Da Vinci was hired to paint a master piece of his contractors house, and all he drew was a square with a triangle on top, pretty sure the buyer would be angry. my little comparison to the lack of artistic thought into the ending of ME3, sorry if that comes over as insulting, for that is not the aim.
To BioWare, your response towards Retake, and how it is clear that you are not Listening.

I really don't know if they're either blind, simply ignorant or just dishonest about how many people actually really don't like the ending of Mass Effect 3. They come all day long with their "But (insert random subjective game magazine name here) says our game got 10 out of 10! How dare YOU criticising us? instead of actually accepting the fact that the vast majority of the community (especially the long time followers of the series) are absolutely disappointed by the ending they keep thinking they did a great job and only an ignorant would call that a "vocal minority".
Muzyka's blogpost made it clear: You may criticise us even though we do not deserve any criticism. But if you still plan to criticise us, don't be honest. Be nice, polite and only tell us what we want to hear so we can keep padding our own shoulders all day long
As for the gaming review magazines, well I only know 1 or 2 that are trustworthy, truly independent and honest. One of them didn't write an article yet (Zeropunctuation) while the other one gave them a fair, honest and decent feedback that hits the nail on the head: 4players.de a German online magazine considered the best and most honest (because independent from advertisement) magazine among gamers in Germany. The other ones are just some clowns I don't even take seriously, since most of them are subjective/biased and have a tendency of hyping already hyped games even more, giving them hyped scores the games do not deserve. Last but not least: The customers rate the game way lower than the magazines. How comes? Because We do not review games, we actually play them, we pay for them and we don't lose anything when we give them the critic we think it truly deserves.
I don't see how people think his blogpost is even remotely an apology, because it just isn't. Actually it's more insulting, than soothing, since it keeps depicting us as the minority that we simply aren't and he clearly tries to discredit customer reviews whilst praising and patting the 10/10 magazines/reviewers, but maybe that's just my opinion.

Agreed. Their statements get increasingly idiotic.

I'm not sure how being polite and, er "nice" is being dishonest. We can say all day "the ending sucks" but that's not really going to get us anywhere. So, we can say, "the ending sucks, here's why" and I think for the most part we have been doing that and we just need to continue to do that.

Exactly, saying we want "more closure" was the biggest insult that made me return the games on 360 (I will only keep my Steam ME1 & ME 2 copies since don't want to delete my Steam account)

Couldn't have said it better myself. I will remember Bioware as the once-brilliant-company who dropped the ball. All this PR bull***. I don't trust Bioware fixing this as a free DLC and I'm 100% sure future will prove me right. I'm sorry I won't be holding the line anymore, my ME brothers...I used to enjoy the Mass Effect franchise but not anymore after Musyka made it clear the end of this trilogy was intended that way and they will only provide more "closure" via (supposedly 'payable'-) DLC (sheesh...hate that word with a passion lol)

While it's upsetting that recent statements seem to exhibit more "We Don't Actually Understand What The Problem Is" than I'd like, I'm going to wait to see what they actually come up with before I let my head explode.
The simple fact of the matter is, despite what's been said, my position is the same: fix this broken product and make good on those broken promises, or I'm no longer a customer. The ball is in BW's court, and I'm going to wait until they actually do something and not get all wound up about PR-talk.

I am agnostic to the theory, but I do not see how this disproves it in any way. A lot of people have been saying this, and their is no part in that blog post that sais the indoc theory never happened
the way I understand it, these posts are saying the ending we got was genuinel the ending they intended us to have, I understood the indoctrination theory to infer that the ending we got was shepards ultra tripy indoctrination dream and tht there would be either another neding or at least something that built upon that released as DLC, or is the indoctrination theory a standalone ending where we just have to assume that it was actually indoctrination? (apologies, but Ill admit I haven't really looked at indoctrination theory properly so I appologise if I've got it all wrong. but I do get the impression the developer team meant for the endings as they were, the statements they've made certainly don't seem like they believe we have missed their ultra subtle hidden messages)

I'm not holding my breath, they said before ME3 was released that are choices would matter......they lied. They told us ME3 would have 16 DIFFERENT endings yet we have 1 ending with 16 different tweeks......yet again they lied. So why would I believe them now they say there dealing with it & that they care about us, yeah whatever I'll believe it when I see it my faith in Bioware died with Shepard.

Yes, the statement was disappointing; but I can't help but feel it's a step in the right direction all the same. I'm as disappointed as the next person in the ending, but at least they are admitting to certain extent their mistake.

Wow I thought this thread was dead.
And yeah, I feel better about it now, regardless of what they ignored, they are begining to respond.
