Yeah I love how they say 75 critics... Lol yeah paid off game critics like IGN, G4, GameSpot or people paid to give good comments like USA Today.
So yeah 75 critics vs 75 000 + fans who've actually played the game
haha its kinda sad, most critic's opinions don't really mean anything anymore.
Exactly, you can't believe anything game critics say anymore. You used to but now their just used as a marketing technic.. All the major games and/or rich developers all end up having 9.5 or 10 for some reason now..
Yeah, one of my friends was a reviewer for a game mag. He said that scores were solely determined by who had made the game.

Also, we have to realize that at the end of the day, the Mass Effect story is their baby. I doubt the ending is ever going to completely change, but they will find a way to correct their mistakes while still making the story their own.
And when they did i can close that chapter of my life.
IF i buy something from BioWare again i will wait a week or two and wait what the Customers are saying.
If a Game like RandomFPS had a Bad Ending, i don't care that much because i spend 5-6 hours to go through the campaign, this is different.
I don't know why but i take this kind of personal, as if some one took a good and beloved memory from me
I mean, for the most of us the End is so frustrating that we don't remember the good things within the ME Series.

But only to you.
If you don't like it, well, that can't be helped.

I'm all for the Retake movement, and I was disatisfied with the endings. But DO NOT DARE use childish review bombing over the ending as an arguing point, that's the "destructive" behavior he was talking about. This game is far better than one ****ing star, and you damn well know it. Yes I want more options and closure in my ending, but that isn't a legitimate way to get it.
Agreed. I'm pretty sure the good Doctor was referring to Pax when he mentioned April, which is a paltry two weeks away. We'll get their plans around that time. Until then, please don't act like an idiot and prove the detractors right. If BW doesn't give you the answer you want in April, then be an adult and stop buying their products. That's what I plan on doing. Review bombing isn't going to help the situation. Neither does lashing out when you have no idea what they are planning in response to the dissatisfaction.

You basically wants Ray down on his knees, weeping, and admitting that his company ****ed up.
Which they didnt. The game is amazing, and you all know it.

I didn't expect them to go and say '' We messed up the ending. Gonna fix it now '' , so they spin it around and around.....
Too bad each passing time is hurting them more.

He might have heard that some wanted the end to be replace by something else, but if he cannot do anything about is, why comment on it? The next best thing to do is to not address it and only address on things they can work on.
You cant really expect him to say: Sorry but this modification will cost too much time, resource, etc hence we want to drop it.

Well, to be fair, he has to defend Bioware as well...
One of the best defenses a company making this kind of interactive product can muster is, "Jesus, we are sorry we blew it. We will actively work on providing a set of endings that meet our fans' expectations."

They still don't really know why fans are mad about this ending but they fix it
just to please the fans.
That show how ignorance they become and no wonder why they fail so hard.

The game is a perfect example of false advertising.
That youtube vid lists what was promised. Now compare it against what was actually delivered.
It's one thing for a developer to say, "I think this game is exceptional," but it's another for them to say, "The game contains the following features," and it doesn't contain a single one.

Yeah, one of my greatest concerns is that they will do the bare minimum to shut us up (i.e a comic epilogue or something) and then ignore the masses

We don't just want closure! I mean to say the least, yeah most of us do want closure. But, one of our biggest complaints is that your ending is riddled with plot holes, ill-placed themes, deus ex machina cliche scenarios and above all that the ending takes away all choice from the players and turns their hero into a mindless drone and slave to the very beings he has fought so hard against. We don't want closure to an ending like this, we want closure to an ending we love, to an ending that after we finish we can put down the control and do a fist pump in the air (kinda like in ME1&2). We want a range of outcomes, good and bad, and above all we want our choices to matter--which in this current ending they are basically worth a morning constitutional...
Seriously. I spent a ton of hours playing all three ME games, did multiple playthroughs, played multiplayer in ME3 to get my readiness up, collected war assets, united previously irreconcilable species (quarian and geth, turian and krogan, etc etc), just so I could get the same ending as people who did nothing, chose different options, or didn't get as high of an EMS? Bah.

But if BioWare truly believes in what it is they are saying to us... then I think they're going to end up losing a fairly large chunk of their fan base in the end.

I could care less about some possible DLC with slides saying that the via space magic the whole fleet was teleported to the each species home system, etc.
At the VERY least, I want to *know* WTH the ending is supposed to mean in the first place : Indoctination? (so reapers win? or are we supposed to use our imagination to actually end the game?) Are you dreaming as you die on earth? (which means the reapers win) It actually was real and this is what happened when the relays blew...
I also want to know WHY the hell Casey and Mac apparently openly and purposely lied to the press and fans when they said that we would be getting Several vastly divergent endings, based upon our choices in all 3 games, and how we would NOT be getting a lost ending (which it is obvious that is exactly what we did get).

No I will be happy with him saying
“sorry we got it wrong and mess the ending up. We will be soon bringing out a free DLC. That will fix the ending to give it a more understandable and non plot hole ending to the game.”
