Love.

Calling out the lack of choice and actions effect on the ending was my favorite part.

Kind of a lacklustre if you ask me, his other reviews have been much funnier. Oh well, not bad in any case, and I got a few chuckles out of it. Although I have to wonder what class he played as... I was playing Adept and I had to constantly move around to avoid grenades/Guardians etc. closing in because my squishy hide was pretty much done for if they got close. Weird. Maybe he was a sniping specialist or something.

On the other hand, I'd like some vehicle sections as well. I have to say I quite enjoyed the Fire Walker DLC and driving the Hammerhead... even if it was made of the space age equivalent of wet tissue paper.

lol, as always, good points. He also highlights the lack of effect on the ending. I really COULD have spent the whole game flicking snots at Specialist Traynor and it would have all ended the same!

Agreed - most of it could be summed up by saying "I don't like Third Person Shooters". Other than that the only real points were that he missed the Mako, and the ending sucked.

It felt kind of like this one was phoned in to me.

Finally someone who says what I always said about the Mako. Ditching it completely was just a lazy, stupid move. They should have made planet exploration fun.

Finally this gets reviewed by the one reviewer who I think can be relied upon to give a (brutally) honest review. I agree with pretty much everything he says.

You can pick the color of your balloon farting across the room.

Is it just me or did he sound kinda ill in that review? He wasn't talking anywhere near as fast or excitable as he usually does.

Meh, it was still funny anyway.

Found it humorous as always. Loved his comment comparing the ending to a balloon farting across the room. Gave me a good chuckle.

Also said something about being hammered and peeing on your loofah in the shower XD

Excellent review. Humorous as usual: pissing on the loofah, rofl!

I found myself completely jaded in the end as well. I'm glad he mentioned that your choices had zero impact on how the game ended as well because they didn't! The game ends basically the same way no matter what you do.

That review was appalling.

The whole point of having reviews which don't give numbers (eg 6/10) is because, according to Yahtzee himself, complex opinions can't just be expressed as a numeral fraction. Talking about a game in-depth is supposed to provide a better analysis than YES I LIKED SO 10/10 BUT ENDING BAD SO 9/10.

It wasn't informative, interesting, funny, or accurate, and frankly I thought it was insensitive to all sides - fans, devs, the game itself.

This from someone who generally likes his reviews quite a lot, btw.

I'm surprised how mellow he was about the ending, to be honest, considering how he chewed Deus Ex - Human Revolution's similarly styled ending sequence.

I don't think "appalling" is the word you are looking for.

Genocide is appalling, not an internet review on a video game.

You know, I was actually even more surprised at how Yahtzee didn't even bring up how the endings were basically the same as Deus Ex's. If anything I expected some sort of snarky joke about it. He was much more mellow in this review compared to his other reviews.

This is quite funny but this is probably the most thought through review about ME3 so far and it comes from Yahtzee! I loved it so much

Kinda sums up my feelings about the end game of the trilogy as a whole: It could have been worse. I like the ending but I greatly dislike other stuff ( like TIM and Coup )

Yahtzee was never a massive fan of ME though. He liked it but not all the way.

I agree, he did sound somewhat different. Maybe he had a cold.

Great review as always, he points out the less obvious and the obvious noone wants to see.

He was someone who appreciated it more than liked, iirc.
