I just had my 4th or 5th hard reset on MP as well. My PS3 is only a few months old and every other game I've had has worked perfectly... pretty sloppy job here. I thought the point of console games was that they were supposed to be more stable than PC, not less.

The that all of you. Random freezes during loading screens and, sometimes, it resets my trophy progress. I'm not playing it anymore until it's fixed...

Mine froze twice in about 100 hours of gameplay, and my PS3 is about two years old. Both required a hard reset.
Both of my freezes happened when trying to enter the Refugee area of the Citadel.

Have had 4 crashes in a ROW today in every game I have played. over two HOURS of gameplay and not a SINGLE credit. Seriously Bioware, fix this.

Yes, I'm surprised that there aren't more people posting here about this. As I said earlier, my PS3 is only a few months old, and I'm reluctant to risk shortening its lifespan or causing a premature death because of ME3-related issues. There can't be that many PS3 users who are completely unconcerned about the need to do hard resets, unless Skyrim somehow numbed everyone to it.

This reminds me the problems I had playing Skyrim. So many of hours gone.
I have had to hard restart my PS3 couple times Thursday during MP matches. I would go to the store and it would freeze and I would have to hard restart.

People keep mentioning skyrim or fallout in these threads. I never bought fallout, too many isssues so i stayed away. And no, the irony is not lost on me, whilist I am posting in these forums. I got preorder boned. Btw skyrim is fixed...finally lol I think in going to go play Skyrim since it is fixed now. Maybe kingdoms of amalur Dlc, I hear it was pretty good.

Ps shameless bump. Make a sticky about all of these issues and which are being addressed. Ive read reasons why bio won't / can't and it was an excuse. Tired of them. Do it. It is the right thing to do.

Just froze up and had to do a hard reset again in MP; I really have no idea what causes freezing or the crippling lag that sometimes sets in. I was just in the middle of sniping some geth, and bam, freeze :(

Mem leaks for fps issues? Hard freeze I have no idea. If i had a pc version I might be able to debug but tbh this isn't the consumers job. My question is this happens so frequently in both mp and sp... How did they reach production? It's not like skyrim where ut set in many many hours into your journey. It happens in me3 sometimes in the first hour or sooner. And when rounds in mp take over 30 minutes on gold you would expect someone QAing to have stumbled upon this...

Beats me. I also suspected a memory leak might be responsible for the lag, but my freeze just now happened about 15 minutes after starting my PS3 up (wave 4 of my first match). It's hard to believe they could have missed these issues; seems more likely that they pushed the product out to meet the deadline and figured they would get around to fixing it later if they needed to. It's disturbing that so many companies do this nowadays, but the worse thought is that they might not even dedicate sufficient resources to fix these issues for the PS3 for a long time, if ever. The lack of a clear response as to what the problem might be and the fact that the xbox horde is so much larger and louder than the PS3 base doesn't bode well for us getting more attention. It would be reassuring just to hear that they have dedicated techies working on PS3 issues, rather than a nebulous and ultimately impotent "we're looking into it."

It's understandable that they have finite resources and with this many bugs have to commit those resources in the most advantageous way possible, but as things stand right now, exactly when they will get around to helping us remains a big question mark.

It's so BS that it took three months to fix skyrim too.  I have put almost 250 hours into the game and have had 100% trophies since January (the only game I have ever 100%)  Countless issues after about hour 50.  Don't know if I even want to play it again with that overkill.
Amalur is good.  The combat is a blast even with mages and I F'N despise mages.  But Skyrim does everything Amalur does and then some but much better.  Beat Amalur about a month or so back with around 80% trophies.  Have no inclination to ever pick it up again.  (BTW, if no one believes me about trophies etc, friend me and compare trophies if you wish)
Anyways as far as this game getting past QA division with all its issues...I will copy and paste my thoughts from a recent post of mine.  BRB

Ok found it.  It was to Bioware employee Thomas from their QA division.
Thomas from QA Division, how did these prevalent issues (some are causing hdd to actually fail) make it past an entire QA Division before releasing it to the public?  Was this game without a shadow of a doubt tested on all aspects?  All I want to do is play my darn game without constant freezes and drops in framerate.  These freezes cause me to hard reset everytime and then I have to wait for the system to restore.  I am on my eighth one now (hard reset).  I cant play it at all.  These are all in random places as well.  There is no area where its most often.  Forget fixing the ending, fix the game so we can try to even attempt to get to the ending.  This is yours and the entire Bioware teams baby.  This is your legacy.  Your masterpiece.  ****** on anyone who tells you to release a game as is.  ****** on time constraints.  You owe it to yourselves and your fans to release a finished fully functional product each and everytime.  Its about service before, during, and after the sale that keeps conumers happy, loyal, and consistently coming back and coming back to do business with you.  Practice does not make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect.  That trust in you is and will always be solidified with us if those practices are the foundation of everything you do.
Broken, glitchy, laggy, freeze ups are 100% absolutely unacceptable upon release.  So is paid day 1 DLC for that matter.  60$ is more than I like to pay as is especially when I can't come home after a 15 hour day of hard training as an infantryman in the U.S. Army serving everyone here and use the product I paid for.To a true gamer, a game is a stress reliever and a way to kick back and relax it shouldn't be the cause of more stress and create more work trying to fix the game so it can work.  I know what I say to you all at Bioware hits home because its the love of gaming and being gamers yourselves that continues to be the driving force behind what you do.  Please dont ever lose focus on that.  Never become subject to complacency.  Do not become like Bethesda and have this limitless potential that is overshadowed by failing to release good solid finished products.

My trophy progress have been reset. I was getting close to the 5000 kills for the veteran trophy. That progress is now back to zero kills. :(

Same thing just happened to me.....AGAIN. It's getting ridiculous now.

Same with me. Didn't get the 5000 kils and Unwavering trophy....

2 year old and 1 month old slim systems both experiencing freezing. More frequently noticed this last week of play. Been playing since release.

Sometimes sound drops out as a prelude to a freeze/crash. Sometimes no warning. Not acceptable.

I was just playing a Silver challenge, being on Wave 10, the last man standing, there was just one last enemy to take down, when FREEZE. My squad mates must really love me now.

My game froze way too much so I ended up downloading it from PSN to find that it froze just as much. Really unacceptable. Where is the patch?

Last night I encountered my first issues with the campaign. During the end of the Cure the Genophage mission Framerates were dropping faster than Herman Cane's likeability ratings. and when I was leaving Tuchanka, my fat PS3(aka Bessie) froze and I had to do a hard reset. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!! Im going back to playing ME2. At least It was more stable than this.
