Is there any intel on whether or not Dwarf Nobles can have tattoos without losing roleplay sense? I've been considering tattooing my Avatar Representative, but have yet to find out if it is viable or not.

Commoner tattoos are different from noble tattoos, so I would say it is completely fine.

The tattoos you can choose as a Dwarf Noble aren't the same design, or the same thing, lore-wise, as the brand a Dwarf Commoner is forced to have. Go crazy.

I am interested in knowing this as well. Does it make sense lore wise for a dwarf noble to have a tattoo or will it shatter immersion? I'd like to know because some of those dwarf noble tattoos look cool....

Yes, dwarven nobles can have tattoos.
Dalish Elves should have tattoos.
Dwarven Commoners have a specific brand on their face, which is under the tattoo options in the CC, but is not considered a tattoo in the game.

I too have been toying with the idea of sticking one on my noble warrior -- they do look good, almost like stylized helmets, and definitely very different from the commoners'. But I haven't seen a single noble (or warrior-caste) dwarf in those videos that had a tattoo, and I wouldn't want my PC to be the only one so ... eh.

what the hell are u talking about?
Roleplaying games don't need you to create rules for roleplay. All rules are created for you. You can do whatever you want without losing "roleplay sense"...
(hope I understood ur question correctly, if not please explain what u mean clearer than you did)

Changes are done!
Tattooed up, decided to cancel the stubble I previously had, since the stubble & part of the tattoo were sharing the same spot & the tattoo looks the better compliment to my avatar.
How is he now? (Origional goal was to not look like a supermodel, but not be ugly either. I was aiming for looking decent & respectable.)
We need more expression options.
