Who died to you and why.

Well number 1 on my list was Ser Cauthrain, she definately didnt like elves, and despite me being a complete charmer refused to see that Loghain had gone insane.
Plus she beat me when coming to arrest me for kill Arl Howe.
She had to die after that.
Number 2 was Loghain, had to face him myself in the Landsmeet, another Elf hater it seems.  Had to pay for selling out to slavers.
Number 3 that slaver in the Alienage.  "Wait, spare me and I can use the lives of these Elves to make you stronger".  Probably not the best thing to say to a Dalish maniac...  However didn't build up to it satisfyingly as long as Cauthrain or Loghain.

Number 4 Arl Howe, a little obviously again this time, weasel had to die.

Number 5, Branka.  Soooo screwy, sorry but that lass must have been eating Lyrium, what was Ohgryn thinking?

I missed the chance to take out Isolde, whilst severely tempted I decided that the boy and Arl Eamon probably wouldnt appreciate the death of there mother/wife.  Actually it would have been nice to see some comeback for running to the Circle to get a few mages to save the boy.

Swiftrunner was heading to a good kicking also, but the spirit of the forest convinced me otherwise.  However my inner elf was weighing up the option of just killing the werewolves.  Played nice there though.

Number 6, the high dragon.  err. it was there Posted Image

Number 7, Flemeth, I was just Morrigans tool honest, nothing to do with trying to rob a powerful old witch.

The only character I'd like to see killable that is not is: Anora. I will never like her, no matter the reasons given as to "why" she is the way she is.

I play a female human noble so my hate and rage toward Arl Howe is palpable.  In real life I even found myself seething.  I actually tensed up and got a knot in my stomach when he comes in with Loghain and Cauthrien before the landsmeet (the first time my PC actually sees him since Highever).

He's so SMUG and he murdered EVERYONE I CARED ABOUT.

Truly, killing him was a most satisfying experience although I wish they would have made it more horrible for him.

Apart from that, I got some SERIOUS satisfaction as my female city elf bathing in the blood of slain rapists in the origin story.  City elf has a lot of rage.

The first time I meet Howe after the brief conversation in the halls of my ancestors, I told him that I would enjoy slitting his throat.

And so I did, using the family sword. It felt good. Very good.

I guess you hope the Arl of Foreshadow's note about the sequel occuring in Orlais is right then.  Then you can butcher vast numbers of french accented people Posted Image

Rendon Howe and Uldred and Branka were just so incredibly bad it was hard not to take joy in their demise.

That scene is hillarious if you bring Sten with you.

And on the subject of hated characters... Bodahn "I'm sure you'll be pleased with your discount!" Feddic

Why i never get an option to point out his "discount" is basically ripping me off more than any other merchant in the world is beyond me Posted Image

I have dubbed Isolde "Lady Screechy Voice."

Yes, I did save her (and Connor), but that doesn't mean I have to like her...

Loghain almost goes without saying.  Same with Howe, although I haven't played the Human Noble origin story yet, so I don't get blood in my eye when I think of him.

Cutting Vaughan down like a dog is very satisfying as a City Elf.  Very satisfying.

Isolde.  You know, I can relate to wanting to move heaven and earth to do something for your child, or to spare him something.  But once you see that you have set a catastrophe in motion, a little regret is in order.  What I hated about Isolde wasn't that she inadvertently set the events of Redcliffe in motion in her attempt to keep her son away from the Circle, it's that she never apologizes for her part in it.  And killing her as part of the blood magic ritual invests her with a nobility of purpose and martyrdom that she doesn't deserve IMO.

I *did* notice a distinct LACK of a discount, myself...

What annoys me about him is the often repeated line, "That's what I've heard on the road, anyhow--take it for what it is."  It's annoying because he says that after each update.

I felt a little better when she was so upset about all the people that died after I saved the Arl...but yeah she was a pretty pathetic figure.  Especially knowing what you already know of her from what Alistair says before you meet her.

Having said that how cool was the Redcliffe plot?  Evil demon child plots don't come around every day.

Poor Isolde. You all didn't love "Tee-Gan!"

Anyway, I couldn't stand her or Anora for that matter.

Even though it's sadly impossible to kill Anora, I delight in splattering her with her dear father's blood every single time. Now they just need a "behead Connor and splatter Isolde" option...

I hate Isolde. The whiny voice, the way she called Bann Teagan "Tee-Gaahn." Then calling my character impertinent for questioning what seemed like an obvious trap.

Morrigan I'm not fond of. She was like the anti-Elanee. Elanee harped on everything morally questionable I did in NWN2. Morrigan didn't like anything my good character did and talked down to her boyfriend Alistair, but thought his sperm was perfectly acceptable and rightfully hers.

Ugh. Isolde. Hate. I let her live because it was the right thing to do, but I hate her. She's a jerk. Always has been, even to Alistair growing up.

Yeah, I was kind of biased against her to begin with because I'm in a romance with Alistair (and she sort of sniffs at him if he's in your party when you first meet her).

I haven't done the Urn part yet, but yeah, it's cool--I think I like it better than the Broken Circle quest, which felt like a bit of a grind.

DIE ALISTAIR DIE!

Sokay I paid him back! Oh yes I did. I felt no remorse for Loghain's recruitment either!

* Isolde. TEEEEGEAAN. Enough said.

* Howe. So smarmy, so evil.

* Loghain. Nice voice, but totally insane.

* Ser Cauthrien. Needs to get a clue; just a hint, your commanding officer has gone 100% off the rails, it'd be nice if you noticed that, thanks.
