First they should work more with the romances of Jack, Jacob, Miranda and Thane.

Jacob's especially. No one in their right mind is able to call that a romance anymore.

I love BioWare to pieces, but really. What were they thinking?

Yes, Ideally, I'd like more of everything.

But Relationships with Miranda and Jack really need to be expanded. They were the person you spent possibly your last night with and put your hope/faith in, possibly, in explicit ways in the suicide mission (team leader/biotic bubble) but they get, what, ten lines of romance dialogue in ME3?

At this point its pointless to have a romance with either of them as the relationship is entirely moot after the end of Mass Effect 2/beginning of 3.

Jacob and Thane don't really need anything because, frankly, they were either done well or they moved on.  Thane in Mass Effect 3 was beautiful, in most every way.  I can understand some people wanting more, but what can there really be without changing his acceptance and peace with death?  He's finally content and happy and died in honor and you want to make him want to live more, to throw him back into emotional turmoil?

I'd also like some Kasumi missions/romance/DLC beyond running around the Citadel for 15 minutes.

Note: I find it amusing that the only one who cheats on you is a black man.

Anyone noticing he died would be a start.

You mean like dialogue from other people?

Only two people on the ship would even know who he was (possibly 3 if you include EDI).  It's not like Wrex, who was famous and on the ship for a long time, even in ME3, or Mordin who was similar.  Or Tali dying( if she does), you know, being an admiral, a constant companion, etc.

Thane was someone nobody new on the ship met, nobody new on the ship really even heard about, and who was kept secret even at the hospital.  Garrus, Tali and EDI saying something would be nice, but if that's your biggest complaint about the Romance then the Romance didn't really have any problems.

Garrus knows. Liara knows. Joker knows. Kaidan or Ash should know, because he was working with them at the hospital. EDI knows.

Everyone else gets a comment. No one, including Shepard, has any post-coup reaction to Thane dying after he went down protecting the squad and the Councillor. That bothered me on a friend-of-Thane Shepard. It's going to be just brutal on a romancing Thane Shepard.

You're right in the fact that more people knew about Thane than I thought (though It's questionable about whether or not VS knew, since he likes staying hidden), but I hold the point.

If the biggest complaint about a Romance is that people don't go off to console you, then it's not that bad.

Hell, if you Romance jack and then let her die Shepard himself doesn't even react differently when he kills her with his own hands than if he didn't romance her at all.

That's also an option. For Thane, you get no achievement, no options, and no reactions. Your crew talks about meeting Jack, Mordin, Legion, JACOB, Miranda.... Not Thane. And then he dies.

That's what we'd like changed a bit.

And the VS does know about Thane, since Thane remarks they were working together and got split up at the start of the Cerberus coup.

Ah, alright.

I thought Thane lost track of them, as opposed to a team effort.  Apologies.

Still, I find it fairly hard for me to find sympathy for Thane when he had so much beautifully written about/for him in ME3 when he died, and Shepard not giving a sh!t about shooting jack in the face.

Make James Vega a LI...all that "Lola" and really bad flirting deserves some romance in the end.

Unless your Shepard routinely leaves biotic kids to get mauled by Cerberus, he's not going to shoot Jack in the face. And he'll get more than one dialogue followed by a death (Jack has three, haha. And a mission! Kind of). He'll also get an achievement which locks you out from being hit on by the rest of your ship.

Thanemancers, he dies, the dialogue's almost identical to a friendship -- and the death IS well done, but there's almost no nod to their relationship -- and then you're at the point where if single, which the game reads Thanemancers as, your crew starts having the flirty options. Kaidan and Liara have perfect timing. >>

This. Miranda and Jack are the only ME2 romances that aren't completely shafted, and even their arcs are crap.

Thane DEFINITELY needs better romance content, as do Jack and Miranda.

A Vega romance would be fun to watch. Seeing two alpha dogs trying to keep ahead of the other could provide some fun to the romance. I like the idea of romance in game but BW could take a light hearted approach to some of the characters to keep things interesting.

Being soldiers Vega and Shep both know they could die on a mission and not want the other tied down if it happens. The constant prodding to outdo the other in chin up's/cooking/other activities would be a welcome alternative to the current romance scenario's.

But for that you have Ashley or Kaidan ... they're both soldiers too. And at least Ashley is "alpha" ^^

However, I support Vega as LI for fem!Sheps. Exclusive.

True about Ash being Alpha, but then she never invited shep to spar with her while they talked. I like the idea of of watching these two engage in a relationship that is a ship wreck waiting to happen

Redbelle: Oh that. Yeah, something like that is missing - then again, we don't know what Ash & Shepard do when we're not watching ^^

Vega is a cool buddy. I'd die to call someone like him a friend. He's just too awesome, and it's displayed in a wonderful way. Also works as LI - but should be straight for fem!Shep only.
Also I'd love to see Vega & Ashley hooking up if neither one is romanced. They fit together quite well.

More love for ME2 squadmates. They are pretty much ignored in ME3. :/

I Second that. I know they wanted to keep the numbers down to focus on the Reaper story, but squadmate's can be used to show how the Reapers are impacting on lives many many ways.

The way former squadmates were utilised in ME3, it felt like a piece of glass was keeping me apart from them when, depending on gaining their loyalty in ME2, they should have meant more and been more visible.

Back to Vega.... and all romance's in general if we must.... do you prefer them with underwear or without? Cause if Vega's been on muscle enhancers he may not be able to fill out his role as a romance interest.

Liara seems to be the only one who has the quads to go full frontal on the nudity. Atta boy...... girl.

On the subject, Liara's romance music....... Is that a rescored romance theme from Dragon Age?
