All of ME 2's romances need more TLC, in particular Thane and Jacob (They need a lot). Thane's character arc in ME3 was totally 180 from who he became at the end of the romance with Shepard not to mention that the content for Thanemancers is basically one conversation. One.

As for Jacob's treatment it was just...no. There...no there no words...

I would really like to see those romance fixed before any new romances are introduced in ME3
(Although I personally wouldn't mind seeing *cough*Javik*cough* as one)

If Bioware were to do some romance DLC, they'd need to equally include ALL romances. Otherwise, the DLC wouldn't sell to all audiences. I wouldn't buy a DLC that was solely for Jack and Miranda's romances, and the same is true that we'd only download DLC pertaining to the romance(s) we chose to follow.

I'd imagine the Thane and Jacob romances should get an overhaul before anyone else. People who romanced them were seriously beaten with the unfair stick. With Thane for example - adding more interaction with him before his death, and then more recognition of his sacrifice afterwards. Shepard and Kai Leng seem to be the only ones who ever mentions it, and even then, it was only during their fights. It would've been nice if someone talked to her about how she was feeling or something.

After those, Jack and Miranda. And then perhaps doing away with the lazy photoshop of 'Tali', and actually showing her face. But something in an epilogue would be good too.

You have to "show us" the NEW LOOK, Shepard influenced Jack. Especially after the uncharacteristic tenderness shown by Paragon LI at the end of ME2. Then she shows up as a teacher! Have to fill that one in. Especially after ticking off Liara for swapping her out. LOL

Please remove Tali's picture and replace with proper 2d picture of and 3d model of new facial Quarian concept in a romance scene.  You've seen the best 3d fanart Tali models so I need not repost them, try contacting the artists involved please.

Well, Jacob.

Jack fans seem to have gotten the middle ground between the more famous romances and the rest. Same goes for Miranda. I think that overall, everyone needs more dialogue.

I wouldn't add any new romances except for Vega because FemShep has less options and he seems like a decent enough candidate.

However the ME2 LIs need to get much more screentime and references to conversations you had with them in the 2nd game. Perhaps by joining the Normandy for the duration of a few missions (and even being a temporary squadmate). This would also be fun because you could get comments from your other ship mates about them, possibly creating some more conflict if there was a love triangle.

For my canon Shepard? Expand on Tali Please . I would like to see her face animated (and I mean her current canon face. No problems with it besides lazyness. its fine.)

For other Shepards? Aria and Kasumi maybe.

I think BW should do ONE BIG Romance DLC
which builds on/fixes these romances and makes Thane over all so much better. As a fan of Thane I was upset that it was like no ever gave 2 sh!ts about him. He was one of the greatest characters IMO.

Any what it would contain is this (with all getting equal amount of effort/time and treated more like Liara and VS)
1.Thane
2.Jacob T.
3.Jack
4.Samara (have to really build on that, and I'd prefer it if BW made it so that she was only available if the player tried to get with her in ME2 and the player was single when finding her in ME3 to commit to her and had to be willing to commit to her)
5.Miranda
6.Kelly Chambers (she already goes both ways so keep her Bi)
7.Vega (for Femsheps only)
8.Samantha
9.Cortez (honestly BW killing him off was dumb. Make a strictly gay dude for players and than kill him no matter what the player does? WTF?)

Not sure if these characters got things good in ME3 but I'm certain that they could use some more effort and work put into them.

Next make it so all LI's can share Shepard's cabin, by committing to that LI fully. It also can not be undone in one game. IF ya commit and dump them then there won't be a way to replace that LI with some one else. It also unlocks new conversations for each LI in Shepard's Cabin, and in game squad dialogue too.
Not only does this make them more $$ by bundling it all in one but it gives ME3 so much more replay value to the game. Wanna have a Shepard that with Samara cool, But ya aslo can create a Shepard that's for Jack, or next time around it's Liara, or Kelly, or Miri, or Thane, or Vega.

Get on it BW it's a great idea!

We need DLC for all ME2 romances at least. They totally messed up with most of them.

That's what I was saying before. A romance DLC needs to improve ANY romances, not just few. I wouldn't by it if it's only improving ME2 romances, while I might buy one that extends VS romances only. I definitely want to buy one that extends ANY romances.

The most important features for me are:

- invite LI to cabin
- allow LI to move in permanently (including ME2 LI after their mission)
- more non-romance interaction & banter
- a mission designed to be done by Shepard + LI
- several other stuff ...

First of all it should be jack. I was so disappointed that her romance had nothing. Then it should be ash, I felt she didn't get as much content like liara. Would love to have aria also.

better romances for all really Liara's is fine, I want more moments with Ash damnit. And add in some crew chatter about Ash spending alot of time in Shep's Cabin. (would help explain why she would want to be away from teh scuttlebutt and or looks.

I'd like it if Garrus was available for a new romance in ME3. Also, Vega as a bi or at least straight option would be nice. The way things are, my current femShep will end up a very lonely woman.

But most importantly, the romance for Thane or Jacob should definitely be expanded on before anything else. I don't really mind the plot twists personally (lot of people did, though), but without more engagement, dialogue, etc, the players who romanced those two were bound to end up disappointed. A sad or infuriating ending needs to be believable and meaningful if you're going to get away with it.

Also, more romance-related dialogue for LI, as well as more comments from the rest of the crew would be nice (supportive and/or inquring is both fine, as long as they're not homophobic). My Sheploo romanced Kaidan but the only ones who ever commented on that was Cortez and Javik.

I have to say though, that even though I always sort of suspected that fan favourites like Liara would bet the best deal in ME3, the magnitude of how differently these romances, as well as the fans who engaged in them, have been treated is still baffling.

I wouldn't mind seeing Aria as a DLC romance.  That would be both dangerous and intriguing in my mind.  Wouldn't mind a shot at Kasumi either. I thought she was awesome.  As for the others.....Miranda, and Jack got the shaft when it came to the romance thing.  I don't know why they limited the squad mates so much in this game.  You had a crap load of people in ME2.  Ash I felt just needed more development.  Her relationship wasn't bad...per se.  But it was nowhere near the lvl Liara got.  Basically I think ALL LI should have gotten the same attention Liara got, then add Kasumi and Aria for DLC romance.  As much as I hate to say it, I think they did fine with Kelly.  I liked her, but she just seemed more like a fling than an actual solid LI.

I went with Ashley in ME1 and Miranda in ME2 & 3.
