I have said from the beginning Bioware really needs to release a Romance DLC Pack and Mass Effect 3 needs it more now than ever before.

I think The Mass Effect 2 Romances need to be greatly expanded on all of them all Mass Effect 2 Romances should get Lair of The Shadow Broker treatment and personal Interactions like a date on the Citadel and lots of other stuff


As for new Romances Bioware should add these

The ME2 romances with special emphasis on Thane and Jacob! I really don't understand why two of the FemShep LI's were taken away in ME3 and you could not continue them.   Those two were handled very poorly.

Personally, all I want for myself is a legitimate and improved Thane romance with content on par to what the more "fleshed out" romances were like. Romance specific dialogues, a love/romance scene, accompanying missions, paramour confirmation, recognition of your relationship from your crew, etc. However, I think all the ME2 romances should be given more content because we all have our favorite characters and preferred romances, everyone should be treated equally and lots of us were left feeling like our chosen LI's were left out in the cold.

I know I feel massively disappointed in the Thane romance being taken away and his development as a romanced character kinda doing a 180. If others who romanced a ME2 character are feeling like I'm feeling right now (baffled and horribly let down) then they deserve great new content too.

As far as anything new, I'd of course like to see ME2 LI's "fixed" first but perhaps making Ashley available for FemSheps would be something to add. I was kinda puzzled why Kaidan was made availabe for MaleSheps but Ashley didn't get the same treatment. I just want my Thane back but I know a lot of people who wanted to romance Ash with their FShep and that would be great to see them get that.

I believe it should be necessary for Fem Sheps to have James Vega as a Romance option b/c what if Kaiden is dead and Garrus dies in the suicide mission. It just would not be fair for Fem Sheps to either wind up single and alone (since Jacob just cheats on you and leaves you for another woman) or a widow (since Thane dies...WHYYYY?) or you are forced to be a lesbian lover (I have nothing against lesbians, but I am always going to be straight, and yes I see the irony in my statement, I just don't want either my Male or Fem Sheps to end up in homosexual relationships). Plus, I want female players to have more liberty with their destiny in Mass Effect 3, despite the ending (And this is coming from a male player who is likes a--....I mean boo--....I mean female beauty, yeah that's what i was looking for).
Also, since my Male Shep's Love Interest is Miranda, more intimate moments would be appreciated, I certainly would want my Male Shep to come back alive and "find her" like she said during the Earth/London mission.
Samara definitely should be a LI, she doesn't deserve to be alone. If she was willing to break the Justicar Code and commit suicide in order to save her daughter from her crazy Code, then she should certainly be willing to find love despite her Code.
EDI would certainly be an interesting LI, since it was Shepard who made her be more human and care for the crew, even if it puts her life at risk.

Thats my point Bioware dropped the ball with the Mass Effect 2 Romances see I have a total of 9 Male Shepards 7 of them are with different Options available the other two are single I am hoping for som new options via DLC. I also have 5 Female Shepards with 4 my favorite Options as well as one single Female Shepard waiting for Joker or James Vega.

Have wanted this since I first recruited her in Mass Effect 2 I am a serious supporter of Shepard/Kasumi Bioware comeon man make it happen.

Male Shepard/Gianna Parasini
I figure this would be an Diana Allers type of fling if anything at all but I would gladly take it and more if possable I love Gianna's Character in both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 I was a little let down when I found out she wasn't going to be in Mass Effect 3.

Male Shepard/EDI
I wanted this Pairing alot Bioware could have made it Possable to I agree Shepard Talked EDI into exploring her Humanty I just think they would have been great together.

Female Shepard/James Vega
This has to happen Bioware Female Shepard needs another Straight Romance Option and thats all I will say about that the only other options are Kaiden who could not have survivied Virmire, Garrus who could die during the Suicide Mission and Jacob who also could have died during the Suicide Mission but also cheats on you with Brynn.

Female Shepard/Joker
This also needs to happen the Groundwork is there seriously the Flirting between them was great Joker telling Shepard that he would Rock Her World so make it happen Bioware you hear me make it Happen.

Just came up with that idea:

BW simply should release two romance packs. One should deal with the ME2 romances and expand them by:
- adding at least one mission dedicated to the LI with them as squadmate.
- being able to decide if you take that LI on board. The LI will resist in Shepard's cabin
- the LI may talk to you about your mission and also may have special "comfort" dialogues after each critical mission with "bad ending" - like Thessia or Palaven.
- the LI will have a final romantic climax scene.
- the LI becomes a squadmate you can pick for your missions.

Issues to solve:
- Jacob's new girl. She shouldn't be his girlfriend in case fem!Shep has romanced Jacob without any romance before him (loyal romance).
Alternatively Shepard should be able to persuade Jacob to return to her.
- Thane's fate. The mission dedicated to him should deal with finding a cure. Although you won't find a "total cure", you find a way to heal his lung to a point he's expecting another 10 years of life.

- Miranda's story: she can be recruited much earlier if you help her with her sister. In that case, the old plot won't happen. If Shepard comes to that point and to the Sanctuary mission, Miranda will insist to be part of the squad. if Miranda is not romanced, she'll be there the old way.

- Jack's story: Jack can be recruited right after the Grissom Academy but you need to persuade her and find a new teacher for her students. If you have Kaidan, you can send him as teacher, otherwise (if you want to keep him) you need to do a mission with Jack.

Important: you can recruit only the LI for your squad. That means only ONE extra squadmate - not four.

Kelly/Samantha: not sure if it makes sense to add them, but I'm open minded here.



That other romance pack I was talking of should improve existing romances and add a new one.
Key features are:
- summon the LI to your cabin whenever you want
- allow them to move in permanently
- Vega becomes a romance for fem!Shep only
- a special mission dedicated to those romances (also available to Liara)
- more banter with changed attitude: friendly / lover
- at least one comforting scene for each LI after Thessia
- at least two additional scenes without a direct romantic context (friendship scenes).
- Allers becomes the "fling" - a full blown affair you can have even with another romance. That's for those guys who like it that way. Allers can't move to Shepard's cabin permanently. You may get caught if your LI moved to your cabin permanently AND you call Allers for a night. Chances to get caught are reduced if your LI isn't living in Shepard's cabin. If you get caught, that LI will break up.
In short: heavy risk, but the PRIIIIIZE!!!!
The more often you call Allers to your cabin, the higher's the chance to get caught.
Allers CAN become a full blown romance if she's the only one for Shepard.

I think it would be a good idea, Liara got her own missions and romance DLC, they should do the same for the ME2 characters who didn't get to be on our squad. I agree Vega needs a proper romance as femshep is severely lacking in hetero LIs, I don't understand why they didn't make him one in the first place.

Yep. I'm not a fem!Shep player, but even I can see the lack of options for fem!Sheps. I mean, if you wanna play a straight fem!Shep, she effectively has only two options to choose from in the end: Kaidan (who can die in favor of Ashley) and Garrus (not everyone likes an alien/human relationship!).
Re-adding Jacob and Thane help a lot, but with Vega you would have another tempting LI.

Preferred expanded romance: Tali. It was way too brief and this time around please put in some effort to show us what she looks like instead of that cheap, fake stockphoto. Oh, and please add, you know, a real romance scene. Not ... nothing, followed by that stupid dream sequence!
The same goes for every romance made in ME2.

Preferred added romance: Shiala, Aria, Vega.

Agreed that one pack needs to deal with the ME2 romances in general. Add to them, make them meaningful, have the LI on your ship, and added as a war asset. Be able to call them up to your cabin whenever you want. And more dialogue with them then just the one sad conversation that isn't that different whether you romanced them or not.

For Thane, offer the CHOICE of saving him/curing him - as stated above, even another 10 years, so that at least he can be with Shep until a full blown cure is found. And fix the damn paramour achievement for him. And put him in the Codex. Galaxy's best assassin just forgotten and discarded. Not to mention the ME2 poster boy and specifically created LI for FemShep! And general BAMF. SHAME on you BW, FOR SHAME.

I think they could add a romance with the Joker. Because a romance between Joker and EDI seems to me absurd. I'm just not in the head. EDI is from the metal and Joker have Vrolik syndrome. It just is not together. Moreover, it is a physical romance.
