If your aversion against Bioware goes so far, that not even today's statement makes you give them a chance, then it would probably really be the best if you pack your bags and leave.

I don't think just believing it at face value is neccessary, but what do you want to do? Keep making a fuss over  it for months, even though Bioware announced they are working on the ending?

They know that people won't be satisfied with just a few little tweaks on what is there now, they know this isn't what the fans want.

If you continune to pester them now, watch how soon public opinion will totally turn against us.

I stay by my decision, not to buy any more from BW until we get an acceptable ending, but I'm willing to give them the time to work on it, instead of harassing them all the time.

SO does this mean I'm holding the line or falter?

In my opinion I keep holding the line, but until we see the outcome of BW's decision, I agreed to a truce.:P

"Some of the criticism that has been delivered in the heat of passion by our most ardent fans, even if founded on valid principles, such as seeking more clarity to questions or looking for more closure, for example – has unfortunately become destructive rather than constructive. We listen and will respond to constructive criticism, but much as we will not tolerate individual attacks on our team members, we will not support or respond to destructive commentary."

See guys, destroyed your own cause.

I need proof. We haven't won anything. PR TACTICS ARE BEING USED TO DISSUADE US.

Winning is getting the DLC. Not to say I'm not grateful for Ray's words... But, I trusted Bioware to make a great ending before and we got the StarChild and his three Favorite Colors

We need to keep the pressure on BioWare. The more pressure we keep on them, the more they are going to deliver in the end. If we stop now, they'll give us something, but probably not nearly enough.

This is my thought. We did not win, yet. They are admitting to feeling some pressure and that is all. If you read there statement release they didn't say anything about changing their ending. NOTHING. They said that they will clarify the ending(s). Meaning they will answer some questions from all of your 'constructive feedback', but they won't changge anything.

They even spoke of people who were 'passionate' about the ME series as if they were raging nerds who let heir emotions get out of control when criticizing the game, but they will try to help even them out as best they can. That is so condescending its ridiculous. Oh and it holds true with their PR STORY from the beginning that the people most vocal are a minority that just didn't get it.

So, NO. We didn't win. They are just being more condescending.

We haven't won a darn thing.

We hold this line and blast the ratings, we blast reviews until they give us the ending we deserve

That is just so....classy.

Hmm...'won' is a strong word.

I think we're doing good...we do have to keep (polite!) pressure on, and make it clear we are not going away.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I also definitely plan to push (respectfully!) for more than just 'closure' and 'clarity'. They are important, but I'm expecting much, much more -- based partly on pre-release interviews, but also based on the fantastic quality of the game and series up to that point.

What attacks? What in the hell are they talking about? I haven't seen that on the mega-thread without an immediate "STOP THAT" from most people on the mega-thread. I started posting on it back in the 500s and watched it since. It's an attack on the character of those complaining to diminish them.
