At first I was excited to read Rey's response. HE is why we have Bioware. Then we get insulted again by being called a small minority and have critic scores thrown in our face again as another insult.
That is NOT an olive branch.
He does not make any mention how they promised 16 endings nor promised they would be tying up all loose ends that matter. He's acting like THEY are the victims. When they promised one product and delivered another. He's not taking ownership of that at all. Doesn't matter if it's art or not. IF you tell someone there is a painting of a tree in the box, sell them the box, and then we find out we got a painting of a frog in the box, that's WRONG!!!!

I need proof. We haven't won anything. PR TACTICS ARE BEING USED TO DISSUADE US.
This, I will beleive it when I see it, persoanlly I just see it as PR doublespeak to get everyone to shut up

All I got out of the Co-founder speech was PR damage control, defense of the ending and of the staff, trying to make the people that disliked the ending as a minority, and watch out we are answering questions in DLC so get out your wallets.
If the game is so good, and we are so few. Why does he say anything at all. It boils down to this they are realizing that they can't sweep this under the rug like they did DA2. DA2 had supposed critical acclaim, but the user score of the game was very low. I think it comes down to this sites and magazines that Bioware and EA pay big advertising too always seem to rate the games favorable, Smaller reviewers, and user score their games Honestly.

We want choice-related endings. Nothing more, nothing less.

This is exactly right. It's depressing how many of us are behaving poorly when we just got the best news we've had since the beginning of this.
Wake up my friend :
While this is a step to the right direction, they have confirmed NOTHING. The've said they're listening and they'll talk about it in April, nothing more. To celebrate a victory before the war has finished is not wise, you could get your hope shattered.

Bioware has made a clear and concise announcement that they acknowledge the issue that Fans have with the ending and are making real steps to fix it.
"Exec Producer Casey Hudson and the team are hard at work on a number of game content initiatives that will help answer the questions, providing more clarity for those seeking further closure to their journey."
Whatever this new content will be remains to be seen, but those of us involved in the Retake Mass Effect Movement, and other such organizations, must respect Bioware enough to maintain a level head and a civil tounge now that Bioware has announced their intentions to alter/edit/extend the ending to Mass Effect 3. What they have promised to do is something not done lightly. I ask that all attacks on Bioware cease and that those who wish for a fitting end of the series to continue with constructive feedback on the endings in the appropriate bioware forums.
Those who have and continue to berate bioware and their employees are not doing their cause any good, and I ask that those attacks stop. Bioware is now hard at work doing what we have asked, allow them to do their work in peace.
NOTHING in that statement of his says "We are going to change the ending." Nothing. There will be some "explanations" of the ending. If you infer from this PR statement that you have "won" and that everyone should back down and be quiet, then congratulations, you are doing EXACTLY what they want you to do. Then in April you'll get a patch that has two NPCs talk about the ending for 30 seconds and "what it all means", together with an Alliance News Network ticket that scrolls by on the menu screen that says that "Somehow, gates blew up without destroying solar systems! Scientists baffled!"
And that's what you'll get.
Don't wag your tail like a puppy when they let you have a whiff of a bone. Wait until they actually GIVE YOU the bone. Because nothing in that statement says that they will. With all his talk of Art and artistic and art and art and art (I guess you can declare your own work art now?), I seriously doubt they're going to change one single bit of the ending.

Wrong.
Even the ME Twitter says something like "We're adding content, not changing any" which is what we knew already. They're not planning on fixing anything because they're only listening to whats easiest for them to hear.
Wrong.
Adding content for who did not like ME3 end, and letting the content for who like it.
Stay calm and wait till April.
