Don't brake the line just yet, they haven't told us anything about the content! Keep sharing your opinions!

I'm not going anywhere until new content that addresses the problems I have with the current ending is on my hard drive. They can do their work, but I want them to know I'm still looking over their shoulder

This most recent statement is no different than any of the other smiley-face PR boilerplate we've been fed previously.

He never said that the content would add anything to the ending, nor did he acknowledge the real substance of the complaints: that the problems with ending are rooted in the more fundamental issues of interactivity, tone, and internal consistency.

All he acknowledged was a problem of "clarity," a disconnect between the reaction of professional reviewers (who presumably "got it") and the fans (who presumably didn't); and all he offered is that this new content (whatever it is) would "answer questions."

Either they're still just playing the damage control game, or they really are still completely missing the point.

We didn't win, we got a PR stunt that contradicts itself and treats us like we're still a vocal minority.

Far from winning, recognizing us does not = a new ending, we hold the line until we get a DLC announcement.

We didn't win, all they are proposing is to add clarity to the existing rubbish we have.

The term 'polishing a turd' sums the whole thing up. If all we get is a polished turd, we won nothing (expet the afore mentioned polished turd).

Sounds to me like they'll just add a bit of extra dialogue with the star child and then add a moving slider epilogue telling me that the crew of the Normanday populated a new colony on the arse-end-of-nowhereia, my LI shot himself in the face for having to copulate with Diane Allers and Commander Shepard remained forever alone lol.

... Urgh, I really hope they don't do that!

OP PLEASE change the title, we DID NOT WIN!

This was just another defense of Bioware, he's just sad we didn't like it. Then he slapped us as the vocal minority and slapped us with critic scores. Said he thinks as it is, is their greatest game etc...

Please we did not win today it was just more spin to get the sales of the game DLC up before the end of the month. Also the only thing they are even talking about is extending the endings we have. i know it's tempting to stop fighting now but we can't. please rember the problem with the endings we have is that they don't reflect what the Shepard we created would do and extending them will not fix that. Bioware may very well release this but please don't buy it. if we just hold on for anyother month or two they will have to give us more endings that reflect our choices and not jusrt extended versions of the depressing nonsense endings we have now. Please this does prove we are close so just hold on a while longer so we can get the content that should have come with the game in the first place. Please please please don't give up now.

Please remember the lies and keep holding on until we get endings that reflect our choices. thank you.

We haven't won until somebody important actually says "We are actively working on a way to fox the ending"
Or something along those lines.

We've won nothing yet, but we've seen what we can achieve.

We need to hold the line! At the moment we still have nothing.

We haven't won anything and Bioware hasn't done anything besides sticking to their views of an 'artful' ending and claiming everybody is basically happy.

Hold the line.

We didn't win ****. All that ray guy said is that we are pathetic minority and his work is an art and we should be in awe and shut up.

This is the very thing atghunter warned us about. They're trying to take the teeth out of us. Until we have a definitive statement or timeline we can't let up the pressure. To me it seems like they're trying to placate us with lip service hoping this will die done. There's a reason the battle cry of this movement is "HOLD THE LINE"

One thing is for sure; from here on now, every RPG/storytelling game will be MUCH more careful when writing an ending. And will probably "test it" before. Bur for now I want the greatest video-game story ever written back.

Hold the line.

It is a victory.  But it is not the victory we all want.

It's a start, for sure, but the pressure needs to remain, otherwise Bioware might change their mind or cut corners.  As stated, we don't want a slightly touched up ending; we want an ending that A) reflects the choice and consequence themes of the series, B) provides closure to the characters we have come to know and love over the years, and C) MAKES SENSE!  Bioware is claiming they will provide some measure of B, but the others remain shrouded in mystery.  They are acting like the only problem really is a lack of closure, but it absolutely is not.

Hold the line.

They didn't actually say anything.

All that was said was they are aware that SOME people didn't like the ending, 75 critics gave it perfect scores (only few games have ever deserved that and even without the ending ME3 shouldn't get a perfect 10) and that they think the problem we are having is about closure and not the ending itself.

We have not won anything yet. Until we know what is planned, this is a small but still significant step forward. This will still take time, and we certainly should not ease up the pressure. Too many threads claiming a "victory" or flaming that "this says nothing".

I'll see what happens next, but at least it looks like something will happen, whatever that turns out to be.

Holding.

Nothing has been won, and even if they create something, some fans will still be dissatisfied with the result, I was looking forward to finishing my ME1 playthrough so I can do the trilogy over again, but if the same end result awaits me, I dont really see the point.

They should be making multiple endings based on certain crucial choices that were made throughout the ME universe, and based on whether a player chose regarding those choices, there should be a suitable ending. Basically, everyone should not see the same ending. Technically, there should be at least 20 endings, but at this point its not worth it. Bioware should have done this from the beginning but I believe with the pressure to add multiplayer and the kinect functionality, something had to be given up, and I believe it was the creation of the ending of the game that was sacrificed.

Yeah... We'll see. If they just come out and say "We're working on DLC to give you a better ending to the game" I'll go back to buying their stuff.

I hope that's soon, because I'd like a hoodie.
