What he said is "we will make clarifications", not "we will make a new ending". IE : they will say to all the stupid fans what the end is supposed to mean, because we are too dumb to understand it.

I love how he has balls to call us minority when 80% of people who has played ME3 doesn't like the ending. And it's just same old what everyone of them has been saying all the time, Now it's just another guy saying the same thing. And saying mass effect was art, it wasn't, it's mass product made to appeal to large group to make lot of profit, but it doesn't change that the game is good but I wouldn't call it art. And we haven't won yet considering they haven't even admit that they made mistake and flat out lied pre-release.

I need a few more details before I'll accept that we are getting actually ending-related content. Once word of it does finally come down, I'll go back to enjoying the game. Until something really concrete comes out, I think we should keep at it.

The Night Mammoth wrote...

What we HAVE won is acknowledgement from the higher ups. First Hudson, and now the co-founder. It means the issue is important enough to harm their revenue stream, both present and future, and they're concerned over the potential ramifications of alienating most of their core playerbase.

What we haven't won is an honest aplology or even admition that the finale is majorly flawed. Not subjectively flawed, there are a host of random speculative themes people like to bring up that apparently explain everything, but objectively. Plot holes, contradictions without explanation, the lack of an epilogue, inconsistencies, taboo literary conventions, these are things that require attention.

This is a whole lot more PR bs though. Citing unreliable reviews, repeatedly referring to the outraged fans with the plural 'some' , saying they're genuinely surprised by this reaction (I mean, seriously? Are you a bunch of literate morons that you couldn't see this coming?), and the insistent importance of artistic integrity and how well the team have done, are some pretty clear indicators of an attempt to limit the damage in the eyes of neutral parties.

Then there's the ambiguity over what they actually mean to do about. Nothing definite, nothing solid, just some assurance that we should wait until April. Wow, if that's not an attempt to defuse the situation I don't know what is.

I agree when I saw that comment they made it made me more angry like they have to add more they the current ending  so that they can explain what they did  for the ones that don't understand.

I am not a child I am a software developer and I understand the ending it's the dam plotholes and change of characters  what happens in the last 5 mins I don't understand. Which clearly they don't either heck the weapon if they paid attention to there own story could in no way give us the green colour option why you ask? Easy the weapon is based on dark energy last I checked dark energy does the oppsite of what gravity does in that is doesn't squash/combnie things together  it TEARS THEM APART. all you have they do is conrads side quest and you find that out.

they will more than likely remove that now since it tells you how the weapon works

Well, it is possible for them to make an interactive comic for the end like they did for the PS3 users to bring them up to speed with ME 2. Thats probably about how far they will take it and they dont even need to hire any actors either except bring back male and female sheps for the narration.

No, thanks.
Until I see objective stuff, I'll be Holding the line.

Besides Dr.Ray statement looks filled with false statements from the development team. He still haven't read our claims by himself obviously. Sooner or later he will know what we said by US, not by the version developers deliver to him.

When I see the DLC in my download bar, after hearing rave reviews, I'll relax.

Lies. Insidious lies. Seems like a PR statement to me. Usually I would admire BioWare for being such devious bastards, but my soul is still too crushed by the endings.

Prove your love to me, BioWare.

We won nothing, and clearly, there is no need to have a winner...

Don't fall in the trap of PR talk...

For all i know we could be getting another pad in the end that states:

Grunt had 10 children on Tuchanka
Liara married another Assari to continue her race., etc..
BUY our new DLC !!!

Far from over ...

What, precisely, have we won?
There is no guarantee of anything. Until BioWare says, "there will be an ending DLC, it will hopefully address these issues" the Line still needs to be held.

HOLD THE LINE

To the people who need proof, grow up. Bioware is finding a compromise, you'll get your closure content. You're not going to be getting anything else, deal with it.

OP is deluded. Do not stop opposition until you have the proper, desired patch of the ending downloaded, checked, and rechecked. If we could trust Bioware on this we wouldn't have had the poorly done ending in the first place.

We haven't won yet. Let Bioware know what we want - a true end-game DLC worthy of the Mass Effect name - in a civil tone.

Hold the line.
