Cheating on Liara, Then going back?

So in me1 i romanced Liara, if i romance Miranda in me2, and then return to Liara in me3 will she still drop the "L" word or will she go back to that whole "I never thought we would be together like this" stuff?

The last one. She'll only drop the L word if you stayed 100% faithful to her, though dining Kelly appears not to count so you can still have her feed your fishes.

If you want Liara to tell you she loves you. Dump Miranda in ME2. The import will then say you had no romance in ME2. The picture being up or down is the trigger. Kelly never made the picture move.

I just did a playthrough with my 100% renegade male Shep who basically slept with everybody he could.. In ME1, he slept with Sha'ira and Liara, in ME2, with Jack, Liara (in the Shadow Broker DLC) and Miranda, and in ME3, I chose Liara and she said "I love you" twice although I chose the renegade option of not saying it back to her. So I don't think it matters if that's all you're after.
