Honestly, if this is true, I would actually be hopeful. It means that the ending's problems can be clearly identified. And they can avoid it in teh future.

It's fake. He wouldn't disclose which parts he wrote because it gives him away.

The second post is real. I saw that on reddit with my own eyes days ago. The first, no idea.

really? You honestly think a bioware writer would say that on reddit. My god people will believe anything posted on the internet.

I buy it. Don't know why but I believe it. Could be bull**** though. But based on the nearly unanimous reaction from gamers at large, I can believe at least a few people who worked on ME3 might feel sort of similiar.

People in another thread were crediting it to Weekes, and honestly, that doesn't sound like him.

Um... as intriguing as it is to read this, if legit, the OP just landed the guy in hot water by posting it here.

Still, he should have known better than to post it in the first place, unless he's already left Bioware etc.

Fake, the guy would be looking for a new job if trash talked his fellow work team to the public in any business. Is screams someone pretending to have worked on the project to gain popularity and fuel flames.

Twitter a week ago said something like the lead writer was responsible for the ending.

So there might be truth to this.

Do you realize how easy a post like this is to fake, assuming you know the game well enough to want to fake it?

The thing that gets me is, this guy supposedly posts on a forum. It's known to be him. And people saw him post it.

Not saying this is true. But my point is, if we can figure out what forum it was on. And verify the account is his (and if people have proof he posted it)...

But yeah...might be too much work.

Not sure anyone wants to go all CIA here. :P

Trying to give credibility to a fake?

With all that information someone can easily come up with a name or verify the information at the very least.

Interesting to say the least, but I don't think its real. Someone from the writing staff saying something like that now would be career-suicide. I would more readily accept it if this statement came out a couple of years down the line, when this debacle is more settled, one way or the other.

I'm not quite sure it would be career suicide.  There are plenty of other video game companies out there that would gladly hire a skilled, experienced writer.

This has been up for awhile, and it has gotta be fake. No one would trash their bosses and then put down evidence that could be linked back to them. How long do you think it would take Casey to look up who wrote those parts? 10 minutes?

Note to self: Peer review is good. Don't be a Casey, care about what others think.

Yeah, better just delete it.

Legit or not, I don't want one of the few remaining sensible people at Bioware get fired over something like this.
