So some truth mixed with lies?
Even if he didn't write it.

So does Patrick owe you a beer of some Tim Hortons now after you had to actually devote 15 minutes to it?
Given the characters Patrick has written that I've enjoyed, I still owe him far more than he owes me.
And I'm not closing the thread as other people will likely see the fake and talk about it. Might as well have the truth up some place as well.
Thanks for not just pulling out the banhammer and locking threads simply because it might be something about BioWare that the company might not like.
I appreciate the integrity BioWare displays on these forums.

On an unrelated note, sarcasm over the internet is fun.

To be serious for a moment, I just wanted to point out to you that all of this ending business is as controversial as it is because you guys made a series of amazing games. If the games sucked people wouldn't care. The fact that everyone cares so much to keep the heat up just speaks to how much everyone values the experiences you, Patrick, and the rest of the BW team crafted.

Someone pointed this out to me. But the second paste bin link is actually from his live journal:

So at least that much was true.

The irony is I'm now slightly more depressed that everyone on the team was behind this.
Whoever leaked the script, that guy is my last hope.
Just because Pat didn't write this doesn't mean he denied the truth of the statement.
It's still entirely possible that Hudson and Walters alone wrote the ending. Or someone else alone. Or that kid in my middle school class who always thought that every hero needed to have spiky hair and a huge sword and also a trench coat because of Final Fantasy VII and The Matrix. It might've been him behind the ending. And Kai Leng.
Was it YOU MORGAN?!!

If you read some of my prior posts in the thread you will see that it was confirmed that the ending was in fact written strictly by Mac Walters.

Kai Leng was definitely writen by a twelve year old. Actually, it's fairer to say that Kai Leng was writen by EVERY twelve year old.

Too many variables, too many conclusions.
Voice, tone, style, easy to mimic. Not difficult, particularly when passionate and have motive.
Case in point.

its almost like every thing he didnt have a hand in i HATED

On the other hand Bioware's track record of honesty isnt exactly amazing atm, the writer would never admit to it, and even if Bioware thought it were true they certainly wouldn't want people thinking it was so they might just take him at hs word.
Can't really say either way if it is true or false, and an official denail isn't really gonna determine it one way or another. Just saying.

I thought Patrick wrote him in ME1 and 2 but John Dombrow definitely wrote him in ME3.

Well apparently, some space magic and speculative content.
