So no. I will buy no DLC until they FIX the endings.

You CANNOT just go back and delete an ending to a finished product. Since when are you allowed to go to any artist, whether it be a film maker, or video game developer, or musician, or painter, name your pick, and ask them to change their work because you didnt like it?

Don't be absurd, I can ALMOST guarantee you, that clarification is all you're going to get. Assuming anything else is nonsensical, grow up. You really don't understand the implications of what you're asking.

The ending is an unfinished, tacked on mess. So yes they can.
And I'm not asking them to delete it. The endings can stay, as the bad endings, as the endings you get when you mess up. They can add new endings, endings that actually fit the theme of Mass Effect.

If they actually set in stone new ending content I will buy all the single player DLC. Probably not MP because I think that aspect of the game will die quickly.

When they have completed DLC that addresses the ending, I will wait until I know >exactly what's in it<.

If it actually addresses the issues that I had with the ending, and salvages the series for me, I'll buy it. I don't want to buy a DLC that's just going to disappoint me again.

If nothing else see many many people visiting youtube to "see" said DLC before purchasing... and given everything that has gone on,I have a feeling that most wouldnt end up buying because this was a fubar of epic proportions.

I know I would be one of the "Go to Youtube" people because after the ending they gave us, I am not blindly paying for anything from bioware ever again. Its going to take so very much more then vaguely worded PR promises to re-earn my trust.

If any DLC is released with regards to the ending... not until I've read what others here have to say about it. Even then, I'm not sure I'd buy it unless it was pretty much perfect.

At this point, if they do any ending-related DLC, I'd be willing to bet that they go with the indoctrination theory... not saying whether it's right or wrong, just that it's there, we're all fairly familiar with the concept and it seems like it would be an easy way to go without throwing the ending out altogether.

Edit: On second thought, I take back any predictions about what it may or may not involve...

Further to this, starchild and space magic invalidate the previous games. It doesnt matter how much clarity we get, those plot holes canot be reasonably explained based on the events we have. Clarification wont change those events.

What's the point in buying DLC for a game that doesn't have a good ending. If in the end nothing matters, why purchase more for it. I kind of wished I only played Mass Effect 3, so I didn't have to waste time on 1 and 2 which in the end means nothing.

So no I won't buy any DLC for Mass Effect 3. And this is coming from someone who bought everything for Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age Origins and 2. Including weapon packs, armour, xbox live pictures, hell I bought a couple themes to. Didn't buy the avatar dress up crap, but I doubt that was bought by many people anyways.

Now that bioware says they are attempting to clarify the ending., what are you going to do about future DLC.

Personally I was going to avoid it all until I knew if it addressed the ending.  I'd hate for Bioware to be pulling a PR stunt just to get me to buy DLC that may exaggerate the content concerning the ending

Until they actually say HOW they are fixing this.

NO

Hold the line

I'm of the same mind on this. If what they produce is good, I will happily buy more ME DLC from BW. Otherwise the only thing I will spend money on is DA.

Depending on how they fix this...

If they charge for it, I will happily purchase an ending DLC once it comes out. I will happily purchase other DLCs that may have come out before it as well, but only once the ending DLC comes out.

No, because clarification is not a fix. If the ending is not fixed now, then it most likely won’t be fixed later even if they “promise” to do so.

No. Not bloody likely. There are certain locations that DLC can be placed. I will be polite and not name them.

I don't want a "clarified" ending. You can't clarify nonsense. You can't clarify plotholes. No matter how hard you explain a plothole, it's still a plothole. ME3 has plotholes big enough to drive the Mako into.

They can't even fix the face import, after over two weeks, so there's absolutely zero chance of them getting any more money from me for this stinker.

If whatever they're planning in some way rectifies all my complaints, we'll see. But this is definitely not something I'd buy sight unseen.

If, at the end of the day, it still ends in such a way that no choice I ever made matters?  Nope, nope, nope.  Why would I want DLC if no matter what I do, nothing matters?

I certainly don't want multiplayer DLC, because I never asked for it, never played it, and refuse to ever play it.

Clarifying space magic and getting rid of space magic are two totally different things.

Pretty much this.

If they fill the plot holes with space magic and nonsense, I won't be buying any dlc.
If they eliminate the plot holes whith stuff that makes sense, and gives the series the ending it deserves, I'll be first in line to buy every single piece of dlc they release.

This ending feels liek it has little to do with the final product. From the point where you go up that elevator it all goes to crap. Other endings are actually foreshadowed.

The dark energy ending isnt perfect, but it is foreshadowed and if executed properly it does tie up a major loose end and make sense to a large degree.

Im sure theres plenty of other foreshadowing that coudl be used too.

Frankly, if shepard died next to anderson and your ems decides one of several cutscenes, from every else lives to everyone is harvested would be better than what we have. At least sense wise.

If they add more options to the Star Child scene that make having more allies worth it, I'll buy Omega.

I don't see the point in getting new allies if my allies can't defeat the Reapers.

I will buy a single dlc, the one that will address the ending if it is ever made. Should I be satisfied with it, not completely happy just satisfied, I may buy more. I never expected a perfect ending, there are to many variables to make everyone content with it, but the one we have now is clearly ridiculous, and the response to it is overwhelming.

This isnt DA2 where there was a pretty even split for the most part, the vast majority hate the ending, this ranges from it sucks fix it to, I dont like it but whatever the rest of the game is great. There is only a very tiny number of people who actually like the ending, the numbers they should be aiming for is the complete opposite.

I'm feeling very tempted by From Ashes...but I think I need something more definitive about the extent of revisions to the ending before I pick up any DLC. Gonna start a second play-through with much more hope now though. :)

Clarification doesn't mean anything, They need to say exactly what they are doing, and even then I need to see screen shots and a full explanation of exactly what is going to happen before I consider supporting them again.

I probably would. Even if it's not ending related. The game is fun after all up until the disappointment at the end.

The most important thing I want Bioware to know is that I *would* buy Ending DLC! Come on Bioware, I know you want it. I've got the cash and you've got the content. It's a win/win!
