I have no plans on giving more money to a company that sells me a product that I am not satisfied with.
If BioWare doesn't follow through with something significant, I simply cannot see any valid reason to even play tacked on pre-ending DLC. I really have a bad fealing that BioWare has decided to distance itself from its identity as an RPG developer.
I will be patient. I will see what happens. I will vote with my wallet.

People shouldn't buy this because what's stopping them from doing this in future titles and not charging us for "additional ending" again for future titles. If they thought it was a good idea going in, they certainly have a different mindset of what their fanbase is like. I even like the ending, I'm vibing more towards the indoctrination theory because I find it interesting, but I can see why other people wouldn't want that. Plus, the fact that we were promised multiple endings with differences depending on our choices by multiple devs, yet we get a copy and paste "A,B,C" choice with minor differences at best... doesn't really give me much hope that they will even deliver with these upcoming DLC's. I know my Shepard wouldn't of picked any of those 3 options and I for sure know he wouldn't of gone through that journey just to end up doing what he did - The fact that my Shepard was able to rally the Geth and Quarians or the Turians and Krogans together, show's how far organics have come and how much they're willing to sacrifice and that we CAN work with synthetics regardless of what this "God Child" believes is the "right" thing to do. Sure, maybe we would of all died, but he would go down fighting in what he believed in.
Bah.
I honestly don't think they went out of their way to make a crappy ending or to set up consumers.
If they had a better ending planned I don't think the game would put you in a period before the earth battle after finishing the game

I understood the ending thank you very much clarifying it won't stop it from being dire.
On the other hand, if they manage to fix the ending and provide the closure that I felt was sorely lacking for the end of Shepard's story. I'll happily swallow any and every DLC they shovel my way.
So yes, it's simply a case of waiting to see what Bioware do before I can say with any degree of finality.

I don't either, I believe some part of the whole involvement, was the deadline factor or a sense of being rushed, but that's just from my perspective.

I understand it plenty the porblem is you broke the lore of ME and made every Charcther act OOC to fit the last ending then there the plot holes.
The fact is the ending forget 16 endings it was advertised as save the ME galaxy take back earth. We didn't do any of that the galaxy is screwed no matter what with Mass releays gone and the fleet will die of starvation as earth can't support them.
But I can see the clarfication all ready
One) The mass relays were destroyed but thanks to the work liara did on mars we found out how they build them again (which i bet they will forget protheans can't build them)
two) the force of the explosion knocked joker ship way off course and he lost control. again for getting he would need to use 3 mass relays to get to the jungle type planet.
|can see a text box with that comming and they will make us pay for it

Now that bioware says they are attempting to clarify the ending., what are you going to do about future DLC.
Personally I was going to avoid it all until I knew if it addressed the ending. I'd hate for Bioware to be pulling a PR stunt just to get me to buy DLC that may exaggerate the content concerning the ending
This doesn't make assets matter, this is potentially covering up a symptom so as to make the illness less known.
If you have cancer and I treat the symptom of your blood clotting instead and then say you're cured, because you won't be noticing much of the damage for certain types of cancer anymore, you will think you're doing better. I will have made the issue worse for you because either you die without knowing you still had cancer or you have a worse reaction later on.

But yeah, don't really do that. I want to see what they can come up with. I trust them to do right by the fans, like the old days

We do not want clarification.
We want endings that are not THIS. I don't need "clarification" on endings that MAKE NO SENSE WHATSOEVER.
So no. I will buy no DLC until they FIX the endings.

And also, there's a little thing called 'paying the employees for their work'. I already did it once and got a 99% excellent, 1% subpar game. I'm happy with them overall. Now if they're going to attempt to remedy that last 1%? Of course I'm paying.
