Ending DLC? Absolutely. No other DLC until the ending situation has been fully confirmed and has a little more detail.

Ending first, then I'll think about buying DLC again.

No, not until they release an ending that makes sense. This is not even boycotting, I simply don't have any interest.

So no. I will buy no DLC until they FIX the endings.

You CANNOT just go back and delete an ending to a finished product. Since when are you allowed to go to any artist, whether it be a film maker, or video game developer, or musician, or painter, name your pick, and ask them to change their work because you didnt like it?

Don't be absurd, I can ALMOST guarantee you, that clarification is all you're going to get. Assuming anything else is nonsensical, grow up. You really don't understand the implications of what you're asking.

No i think he/she does and clarification is all we ARE going to get if we allow it they promised us 16 vastly different endings not 3 different colored explosions with small differences

Not unless the DLC does more than just fill in all the plot holes. Clarity would be a good thing, but it honestly is the least of my concerns with the ending.

If they rectify the endings such that they don't result in the annihilation of galactic civilization, I'll be willing to give serious consideration to any DLC they want to provide. Anything short of that however and I will consider my affiliation with the ME universe to be at an end.

I'll buy DLC when we get 14 more endings that answer some ****ing questions and let us defy that retarded circular thinking star child instead of accepting whatever he says as fact. Hell, let us kill the little ****. He said it himself that he is the one controlling the reapers, so give us a renegade interrupt to shoot him in the head, and if that isn't enough, make the crucible blow up and take the citadel with it without setting off the relay destroying chain, and I don't know, maybe radio the citizens of the citadel to evacuate instead of killing every character there we've come to know and care about. The reapers would be uncoordinated or just dead without star child, so why isn't that a ****ing option?!

I'd respect their "Artistic message" with the endings more if not for two things. 1). They were sold to us on a bunch of bold faced lies from the devs, and 2). their "message" is a tired ****ing cliche about sacrifice in war that wasn't even executed well enough to get past.

Im not going to good faith purchase any DLC until I know what the actual plan is here.  If at the end of the day I still feel its feeding into a dead end ending then Im still not shelling out money on it.

I am not buying anything until the ending is addressed and satisfactorily at that. If all they do is piece together some half-assed attempt at validating the one we got, then I am done with Bioware.

I won't buy any DLCs as long as the current endings are untouched, but I might be desperate enough to pay from better ending(s), if they're going to offer them

I hate the ending like the fires of a billion burning vorcha, but I will wait to see the specifics of and general reaction towards the DLC before I commit to buying it.

Well, when you finance the art, you can tell the artist to do whatever you want. They agree to that going into the project you commissioned. When a film studio funds a movie, test screens it, and the audience hates the last 5 minutes, they do actually call the actors back to reshoot. This is not any different. Especially since I pre-order a CE and paid in full months ago.

And don't try so hard to troll. We understand the implications of what we ask, as it has been asked for and recieved many times over long before Mass Effect. Art that was to be sold can be altered to suit the customer's tastes. Otherwise, you're never going to make a dime as an artist.

I've said all along I would pay for an ending. I hope it's a meaty SP campaign ala LotSB with the endings included, or the ending bundled with a weapon or 2 or an armor set. But even if it's just an ending I'd pay.

Not until the endings are fixed to my satisfaction.  If Bioware wants my money again they are going to have to prove that they deserve it.

Why shouldn't a paying consumer be allowed to request a better product from the developer (also why shouldn't the developers owe it to themselves to create the best possible product)? Video games are not like paintings, you don't see the the whole canvas when you purchase it. In the case of a series like Mass Effect I think it's safe to assume that previous game content can be used as an indicator about what new games will be like and that if some of the core assumptions aren't met then it is perfectly legitimate to request that the game be changed. So imagine that you are being sold a painting that is covered up. You've bought paintings from this artist before that you really liked and you've been told that the covered painting will strongly resemble the other paintings you liked. So you buy the painting, take it home and take off the cover and discover that while almost all of the painting is beautiful, for the same reasons that the other paintings you bought from the artist are beautiful, there is very noticeable ugly brown smudge right in the heart of the painting. This smudge, while small is significant and it detracts from the entirety of the painting.

Would you not be upset? Would you not feel justified in requesting that the artist fix the smudge, not only so that you will enjoy the painting, but also because the artist owes it to herself based on how beautiful the rest of the painting is? Also, a real fix would imply more than just softening the edges around the smudge so that it is less noticeable or having the artist explain to you why they thought an ugly brown smudge in the middle of an otherwise gorgeous painting was a good idea.

If conclusion, yes.

If clarity, no. Clarity does not help. Issues still remain.

Victims of Titanic did not feel better about wreck when clarified there was good reason to cut budget on life boats.

I'll pay for a real ending, but like a lot of people I'm waiting for reviews on this.

Also, no way I'm buying any pre-TIM base DLC until there's something that actually gives us different endings and not the same thing no matter what. It all would seem futile otherwise.

I will give them a chance and reserve judgement until I see what the mystery announcement in April is.
