So no. I will buy no DLC until they FIX the endings.

You CANNOT just go back and delete an ending to a finished product. Since when are you allowed to go to any artist, whether it be a film maker, or video game developer, or musician, or painter, name your pick, and ask them to change their work because you didnt like it?

Don't be absurd, I can ALMOST guarantee you, that clarification is all you're going to get. Assuming anything else is nonsensical, grow up. You really don't understand the implications of what you're asking.

When could you not ask someone to change their work? Are you implying that it is illegal? People can ask whatever they want. Its up to the artist whether they will listen or not. Just as its up to the ones making the request whether they'll ever buy a product from said artist again or not.

As I see it people requesting an ending DLC is giving BW a chance to regain their trust. They could just walk away, but fond memories makes them give BW a second chance. Cant really see that it is a bad thing. BW could just say no, and people would move on to different (though not necessarily greener) pastures.

I've said all along I would pay for an ending. I hope it's a meaty SP campaign ala LotSB with the endings included, or the ending bundled with a weapon or 2 or an armor set. But even if it's just an ending I'd pay.

This. And nothing else until ending dlc ... But once it's available I'll probably cave if there's any other dlc ... Javik, Zaeed and Kasumi were awesome and Arrival wasn't half bad either.

Not buying any DLC until I see what they come up with for this alternate ending.  At that, if it costs money, I will wait for non-spoilered reactions.  I'm already feeling a bit had, going along with buying 'From Ashes' only to discover it was clearly cut from the game, as expected, and then going on to discover a hack job of an ending...frankly I don't feel like taking a third, humiliating blow from Bioware.

They have a chance to reverse some of the damage they've caused to their reputation here, so let's hope they don't squander it.

Music does not equal games.
Paintings do not equal games.
Books do not equal games.

However, I would agree that games are a type of art. But a UNIQUE type of art. An inherently interactive type of art, whoe very nature is reciprocal. We give back and into the game just as much as we are given. In that sense, I don't think you understand the implications of refusing. You are saying that the gamer should be complelty removed from the finished product, which is garbage. A painting a complete, even without an audience. A game is not complete without the gamer.

OT: I don't want a clarification. I want a revision, and I'll not send a penny BW's way till then.

I'll buy multiplayer dlc because it's the part that still interests me.  I will not buy story dlc because it holds no value.  If a proper ending is released I'll proceed to buy ALL dlc because it finally adds to the overall story significance.

No DLC for me at this point. If it supposedly addresses the ending, I'll read about it and see what people think first.
I want to have everything that relates to Mass Effect. Freaking epic universe. But I will hold the line until this is fixed, because right now, ME isn't ME.

It wasn't a finished product.  If this was some generic COD shooter for 12 yr olds maybe the ending would be fine...    but This was Mass Effect and its story driven brilliance was the reason it was so well loved.

Bioware/EA forgot their demographic and stamped out a rush job contradiction/loophole/inconsistancy filled ending, they deserve the backlash they get from the people that have been paying attention to the story since 1.

TBH with how well the rest of the trilogy is written and thought out, its very hard to believe they thought this was actually a good way to end the series.  If they actually intended all this to build up DLC sales In some douchebag business scheme, i think they learned a valuable lesson of what happens when a business underestimates the intelligence of their customers.

Yes, with conditions.

I really want Bioware to state they are working on a new ending. I want them to bring back the vioce actors and write the many epic conclusions the series deserves.

As long as they do that, I'll buy DLC in the interim to give them a chance and to provide them with some revenue.

I think this is my first post ever? Probably my last...It's a rant so I apologize in advance.

About DLC:

In the past I've purchased all the previous ME games +all their DLC.

I'm NOT paying for endings that should have been in the full game, and as for other DLC...
Charge us $100 up front so we can get the FULL game all at once from now on please!!!
Instead companies sell us %75 of a game, and then make us pay "installments" for the rest.

To pay $10-15 for 1-3 hours of gameplay is ridiculous!
When I paid $60 for 50 hours of gameplay originally! What a scam DLC is in general!

^Why are game developers taking cues from drug dealers these days?
It's not CRACK! Its a videogame, so don't cut it up and sell it to me in little packages!

Ending Complaints:

I expected my choices from all 3 games to matter having played 150 hours worth of this series!
Up until the final 10min of ME3 the choices seemed to matter...Then NONE of it mattered at all!

*What happened to my squad when I charged the Citidel? (magically teleported to the Normandy?)
*What became of the Galaxy? Earth? EVERYTHING???
*Why did I just waste 50 hours and the whole plot of ME3 building up a Galactic "Fleet"?
Not to mention uniting like ALL of the races in the entire Mass Effect universe IF IT DIDN'T MATTER ONE BIT?
*Renegade, or Paragon for all 3 games? DOESN'T MATTER!

Other complaints: aka things Bio-Ware squandered in ME3...

*Why did Zaeed die like a b*tch?
He was a bad-ass in ME2! In ME3 he made a 10 second cameo and died in an "off-sceen" fight?!

*Why did Kasumi not get a bigger part in ME3? Same as above a 10 second cameo...
I loved her character in ME2! She was very unique and interesting human NPC!

The first DLC I will get, if it happens (And it may not, Dr. Muzyka's post only commited to putting out a statement in April), will be the ending DLC.
If the ending DLC fails to deliver a complete, proper ending, I will then not buy any other DLC for Mass Effect 3.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. After the "No A,B,C, ending" quote resulted in what is, to my way of thinking, an exactly A,B,C ending, Bioware has lost the benefit of the doubt.

I'll wait until after any ending-altering content is released, and see what it's like before spending additional money on the game. It's not like they'll run out, or that I won't be able to find other ways to spend my time between now and then.

I"m not returning it - I enjoyed the heck out of the game up until the very end, and I find if I just stop after the speech to the squad in London, that works quite well. If I have to imagine a sensible ending, may as well start from that high-note, rather than living through the Starchild again.

I am going to wait to see reactions before I buy anything. Some reactions are inevitably going to be negative no matter what but, once the dust settles, and the majority of people seem satisfied, then BW gets my money.

So the real question is, which one of us is going to take one for the team and buy an ending dlc, find out whether or not it really fixes anything, and then report back? :P

I'll be honest I will wait until the ending is fixed

This is not the first time one of the doctors has wheeled out a molifying statement after a bioware ballsup and that one unfortunately turned out to be a lie, so I'll wait till for the moment.

Until they issue a reasonable response and clarify their future intentions, I will not purchase any ME3 DLC.

If they announce something that seems like an honest effort to rectify the serious problems with the sequence that's currently at the end of the game, then I may "take it on faith" and purchase single-player DLC as it is released. Otherwise, they are not getting my business until they release the result of the "content initiatives"; if the results are not satisfactory, then they may never get that business.
