I have searched through every thread on tactics I can find on this board, and Google, and I'm still at a loss for how this is supposed to work.  I've seen mentions of a "Tactics 101" thread, but I can't find it anywhere. (Link, anyone?)

I'm trying to get my dog to attack mobs that are melee attacking my wizard or archer.

I set dog's first tactic slot to Character -> Being attacked by melee -> Use skill -> Charge, and ... nothing happens.  I'm getting beaten on by one or more monsters, and dog just stands there.  I've tried setting the mode to Aggressive, Defensive, Default and Passive, with no change in result.  Dog just stands there while I'm getting pummelled.

Do I have to activate a skill in the tactic, or is there an option for just regular, normal, "attack"?  I don't see one anywhere in the menu.

The option I want is under Enemy -> Attacking Party Member
