If BioWare is going to patch the ending, there is no way I am going to pay for it. It should be offered for free as a gesture of goodwill to all of us who have bought the game.

Plus, if BioWare hadn't rushed the game, then this "better ending" would have been included with the game from the getgo. Which is why we should continue to hold the line until it is announced that everyone gets this modified ending FOR FREE.

Until then, please keep holding the line. We can do this. Today's announcement was a step in the right direction. But charging people $15 for a modified ending that SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE GAME IN THE FIRST PLACE is something most of us should not stand for!

And the ending DLC better be substantial, to make up for the mistake. And developed for free.

HOLD THE LINE!

Minus "pain and suffering" I agree. If they believe the product is defective, so to speak, then no one but them should have to pay for it.

As for "pain and suffering", no video game should cause anyone pain and suffering. If it has, then there are larger issues afoot.

I'll pay for it. That way they can do something really substantial rather than whipping out the minimum necessary to satisfy. Without profit for BW, we are guaranteed a minimum. I'd like more than that.

Lol. Ask the Retakers. It seems that many of them feel as if they have been wronged in some way.

I agree. However, we don't live in a perfect world where we can get everything free. If I have to pay for a quality ending that was influenced by my choices, I would. But then I wouldn't be buying any Bioware game on day 1 afterward.

Your picture confused me.  LOL

If a game is causing you psychological harm then there is some re-prioritizing that needs to be done.

I'll pay if that's the only way for them to add diverse and new endings. I really don't care about getting free DLC that only "clarifies" the current endings.

I'd be willing to pay for it if it was a loooooong DLC.

0.50$ tops for a written epilogue a la DA:O

Requesting too much. Unreasonable. Even if unreasonable, also illogical.

Won't happen. To ask discredits entire movement. Makes us seem like moose who love muffins.

Don't even like muffins.

I also agree that if they do release ending DLC, it should be free.

That being said, if they do charge for it (most likely), I will buy it...

...But it will be the last purchase I ever make from Bioware or EA.

I actually have.

But no one asked for anything more from Mr. Cameron, though.

This is exactly why it seems like entitlement to many.

"I don't like the ending!"

"Bioware make a new ending nao!!"

"I don't want to pay for the new ending I just asked for!!"

I'll gladly pay for it. The way I see it, I'm getting the entire Mass Effect trilogy + dlc back, along with a new ending. Best deal ever.

hate to say this but not gonna happen.

especially with what I have been hearing about what they want to do to fix it will be non compulsory ending DLC by which I mean it will fill in the blanks and add some clips to the aftermath of the game.

Cameron never said "We listen.  We care".  LOL

I see your point though.
