Back to the topic at hand, if I have to pay for the ending DLC, I am returning my copy. You seriously can't expect to treat us like that, giving us a sub-par ending, and expect us to pay for something that should've been in the game in the first place: an ending that reflected the choices that we made.

Wow...you really do sound like Mordin.
And I agree.

Afterwards, many people, including myself, will consider the movement complete (so long as the paid DLC isn't just as much of a flop).
Good luck with the no compromises thing. You're not winning BioWare over without compromise.

Sorry... If they add to or change the endings, I expect to pay for them. Why? Because this is not free! This company is paying tremendous amounts of money to add additional content to the game. We are getting what we want and I do not mind paying for the additional content to complete the Mass Effect series. Bioware took a huge step forward today in my eyes.
I understand that there's effort involved when making a new addition to a game, but this "new addition" is something that should've already been in the game on release. This is an issue that shouldn't have to be rectified. Heck, I would be fine with the endings if there were noticable differences for those who are colorblind.

I agree. However, we don't live in a perfect world where we can get everything free. If I have to pay for a quality ending that was influenced by my choices, I would. But then I wouldn't be buying any Bioware game on day 1 afterward.
This. I'm not unreasonable, I understand that it'll take resources (and people have to be paid) in order to redo/rewrite/expand upon/whatever the endings. But I already paid for the game; a game I feel is incomplete. I haven't decided whether or not I will pay for any ending DLC (I shouldn't have to), but if it's not free I will certainly remember.
Conversely, if they provide the sense of closure we're all asking for at a level of quality we've come to expect from them, and it's free, I'll certainly remember that, too.

If BioWare gave the Mass Effect trilogy the ending it truly deserves...Yes, I'd pay for it. And I'd buy every following DLC pack without so much as a consideration for price. Just like I've done with all DLC packs for both ME1 and ME2. (...and ludicrous amounts of Mass Effect merchandise)
Money irrelevant, only propper ending relevant.
But thats just me.

I can pay for your copy Zenoctilles if you want I really not care about 15 more bucks and I really want a decent ending not a crappy one whith no voice acting or a silly epilogue.
I have already donate more than that to the "child´s play donation drive" so...

Just stop it already. No one cares.
Nobody cares about the movement? Then what are we doing here, speaking about the movement? What is Bioware doing, trying to please the people who are members of the movement? It's fine if YOU don't care, but you are not everybody.

Where in any recent interviews or statements do any Bioware employees state whatever they're planning to release will cost anything, let alone $15 specifically? The answer is.....NOWHERE. www.youtube.com/watchZenoctilles wrote...
But charging people $15 for a modified ending that SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE GAME IN THE FIRST PLACE is something most of us should not stand for!

If BioWare is going to patch the ending, there is no way I am going to pay for it. It should be offered for free as a gesture of goodwill to all of us who have bought the game.
Plus, if BioWare hadn't rushed the game, then this "better ending" would have been included with the game from the getgo. Which is why we should continue to hold the line until it is announced that everyone gets this modified ending FOR FREE.
Until then, please keep holding the line. We can do this. Today's announcement was a step in the right direction. But charging people $15 for a modified ending that SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE GAME IN THE FIRST PLACE is something most of us should not stand for!
And the ending DLC better be substantial, to make up for the mistake. And developed for free.
HOLD THE LINE!
Ummmm what was the announcement made today, I was at my jobby job.

Broken Steel wasn't free. And demanding it for free makes me agree with IGNorant.com.
Sure BW can make it free, if you can live with an DA:O slideshow made and voiced by the interns. For proper voice acting, cutscenes and additional gameplay you have to pay. The game isn't broken so you can't demand they fix it like if it was a car you just bought and discovered it was leaking oil.
Yes you may discover the car didn't live up to expectations, but that was your own fault. You could have waited till your mechanic friend had time to inspect it or seen a review of it on Top Gear.

But the game didn't even have a proper ending! It was defective, and constituted false advertising on BioWare's part. I am perfectly willing to give them another chance. They need to make it free.
