Honestly, release it as "Alliance Network" DLC like Zaeed was for ME2 on Cerberus Network, we get our ending for free who bought this game on launch day and dealt with the endings up till now and EA can cut back on used game sales which im sure sounds great to their investors.

win/win

Thread is highly damaging to overall movement. Should be avoided. Makes Retake Mass Effect appear disjointed, schizophrenic, entitled.

Don't want this. Must speak with clear voice. Be willing to make own concessions.

I doubt that will happen. If we want them to devote more time and resources to alter the ending then there's a 90% chance we'll have to pay for it. They have to fund their project somehow. You know companies aren't going to dip into their billions to fuel this either. Those execs. won't have that. It's all about the profit.

Be quiet. We deserve a modified ending for free. I've spent $60 already. BioWare does not deserve any more to rectify their mistakes. Free, or we will keep complaining. That is for certain.

Yeah, paying for a good ending is a bumb deal.  But a for profit company isn't going to take a loss.  That's not what businesses do.  I'd pay well for a fantastic ending worth the money I'm willing to pay.

Creating a new ending DLC still takes resources and people who need to be paid for their work. It's not ideal, but it's probably necessary to pay for it.

It's not "free"...it's "been paid for".

Assuming it's true, this DLC concludes the game that we bought. When we bought it, we bought the beginning, the middle, AND the end.

Semantics aside, it's the same thing.

Ill hold the line until the dlc (since it probably wont be free but that would be a plus)

One step at a time.

let them do their work. Freak out about free DLC after they've made an official announcement about it.

While your concern and arguments are valid, take a moment to consider how difficult this would be for Bioware to just make at the last minute. Paying voice actors, animators, writers... even if it is to cover up a massive mistake, they have bills to pay and families. I would be grateful for a $10 DLC.

So?

The game was defective. Fix it for free or BioWare will continue to get tongue lashings.

Thanks I really dislike titles that do that. As to answer your question if they put out quality ending DLC I will pay for it.

As much as I loathe the idea, I'd pay for a well-done DLC over a mediocre free one.

If it's quality, I'd pay for it, even though I believe it's still awful to have to pay for a proper ending on principle.

I personally will be completely willing to shell out for cash for it. I would be willing even to pay like, ten bucks for it if it adds in some good content. Hoping for a bit cheaper then that though.

Maybe you want to pay $15 and get milked by EA, but I'm not a sheep.

They either do it for free, or I will continue to complain. Maybe I might even file an FTC complaint. Who knows.
