Let's fix our demand.

I want the ending DLC to be both substantial and be developed and distributed for free. No compromises.

Changing demand mid stream antagonizing.

Threatens everything accomplished so far.

No longer holding line, moving forward from it, fighting own battle.

Will fall horribly, and now leave line weakened.

Like breaking away from phalanx.

Or letting deformed midget on phalanx.  Same concept.  Will fail, all suffer.

Not really a line I think I want to hold. I'm interested in whatever works best as a motivator to get this ending made. Telling EA I will pay for a new ending is more likely to cause that than demanding it for free.

Or we can just get our chainsaws and trash EA/BioWare's reputation on the Internet, leading to decreased sales for all of their games. Let's see how they respond to that one. My keyboard is ready.

For long 8 hours long truely epic and satysfying ending I can pay as mucha s for the game itself, but I want ti to be just great. If it will cost me 60 $ then so be it but I want to feel satysfaction.

Inflated sense of self worth, over inflation of value of particular protest.

EA large company, many titles.  Fans of FIFA, Madden, not likely to assist in protest, no matter the eloquence of protest.

If they just change or alter the last 5 or so minutes it should be free.

If they expand on the ending and change from when you first land on earth then it should be paid dlc.

Regardless, I'm holding the line even though it's not in my signature.

they'd lose a lot of money if they did it for free. Patching stuff on xbo live or psn is expensive.

if they did it for free, i'd preorder more rpgs from them

if it's < 10 dollars, i'd pay for it, but be more cautious of them for future games

if it's > 10 dollars, i'd pay for it but they'll lose a fanboy

It is still a worthy protest. Isn't that why you are here?

Well, if it turns out to be a big mind frak, and all this was a clever ruse-Then yes I will gladly fork over money for extra content. With a smile. And scream their praises to the 9 winds.

If it turns out it was just another creatively nihilistic trashing of an IP and it's just a big reinforcement of it-then no. It must be free. The game was not as advertised.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

I will pay for it. If they address the gaping plotholes and not just give more closure or a happy ending. I respect the choices the team made when they decided it wouldn't be all happy flowers. But I can't let them get away with undoing the universe I've come to love with such errors. Casey even said that by Mass Effect 3, the fans were the co-creators. I have the utmost respect for BioWare for delivering what will be the best game in the series. Hopefully, they can set things right...

We aren't entitled to a free dlc. Bioware is kind enough to go out of their way to create this for us, the least we could do is give them money for their work. They'll have my $10-15.

They ask feedback and you post this?
You sound more like a fanatic than a fan to me.
They working to set things right.
And this topic aint helping.
I want a good quality ending that's all.
And if they charge me for it so be it.
At least they are willing to do this dlc.
Other developers don't even care what you think.
Show them some respect and give them some worthy feedback.

But, if they had done their job properly, we wouldn't be having this conversation, would we?

No, here to hold the line. Assist in making clear, loud voice. Demonstrate lack of satisfaction with ending. Implore Bioware to see reason, change it, allow great saga to end appropriately.

Not here to wage war or threaten. Willing to make concessions. Must be reasonable, unthreatening. Disappointed, not angry.

Anger, violence, damaging to cause. Like Wreav without Eve.

For me it's about a specific result (new ending). I want to choose the approach that most likely gets that result.

We asked for a new ending or one that addes more closure, and now your demanding it be free ? Bioware will rule us out as whining fan boys if you keep adding terms to this yet released DLC.

Don't you get it? The product was defective. It should be fixed. For free.

Would you pay a man twice for doing the same bit of work?

You don't understand, clearly.  The product wasn't defective they gave you a beginning middle and end to game and just because you didn't like a part doesn't mean that it was an incomplete or defective product.  If you order a meal at a restaurant and don't like how it tastes you don't et a free replacement meal.  The product worked fine making your defective claim invalid.  It's not paying someone for the same bit of work either.  If you are a Bioware employee you would have thought work on ME3 main game was done.  Now if I then see outraged fans and I'm told I have to work on a "NEW" project to fix the endings.  That's not the same bit of work it's response to fans and if you expect it for free you will be sorely disappointed friend.

First of all, most of the feedback has been posted ad nauseum already. No point in repeating what others have said.

And second, I am a fan. I just want to see justice done for those of us who have been with the series since its inception.

If Bioware is watching, just want to say OP does not speak for me. If you're willing to invest time into a complete ending, then I am interested in purchasing it. However, just as you aren't promising you're going to make it, I'm also not promising I will buy it. It must address core issues, and it must not be a slideshow epilogue.

I've gotten replacement meals because I didn't like something before. And you know what? Those are the restaurants I keep frequenting, because they put customers first.

Besides if the demand a free ending crowd gets big enough it could effect the entire take back ME3 movement.

IGNorance, Destroctoid, and Kotaku already see us as antagonistic villains that flame and insult everyone at bioware despite that being the vocal minority in the "vocal minority".

What do you think IGNorance, Destructoid, and Kotaku will do with the "we demand free stuff"?

They'll make us out to be the bad guys even more the people that were hoping we'd succeed won't support us if we sound unreasonable and the media attention we're getting from FOX, CNN ect. will shift over to EA's PoV and make us out to be the bad guy. The wind will shift, a storm will hit, and the momentum will fade until we're just stuck in the water with no way to get back to where we are or continue forward. While many may agree that the real ending should have been in the game demanding a free ending that is substantial and fulfilling will kill the take back ME3 movement.

Honestly, though I really want it to be free, there is no legitimate arguement that will explain why it should be free and be able to counter every point against it.

I highly doubt it will be free, but I know I'll pay any price as long as it's good.

I feel as though I got my money's worth from the majority of the game. Hell, I'd say the game was worth even more than that. The way I see it, they are going out of their way to make us happy and I know I'd be happy to give back in turn. Besides, you don't get something for nothing in the real world.

I'd also like to add that, although I hate the current endings as much as anyone else, I completely disagree with the "defective product" argument. I don't think it was ever explicitly stated that the ending(s) would please everyone. And we do get free corrections for defective video games. They're called patches.
