First of all, i'd like to state that i think the game series as a whole are.. marvelous, to say the least. I've been a fan of BioWare for some time and so far Mass Effect is the only BioWare game that i can say that i truly enjoyed 100%.
Though i don't think it was the perfect ending(s), i still think they fitted as an ending for Mass Effect, tho it wasn't the "perfect" ending i was hoping for.
Afterall, i had a love romance with Tali'Zorah Vas Normandy so i kinda was hoping for abit more of a happy ending with both of them on Rannoch and a "mutant" child or something silly like that. Maybe i'm just a softie who like happy endings.
So i guess in conclusion, i think the endings was okey, it fitted with it all but i wanted a more of "My team vs Last Boss" kinda ending and then the choices, instead of talk and talk and talk (don't get me wrong, i like the story and all that, and specially the choices that you can make in a conversation), but as i said earlier it wasn't my perfect ending.
Anyways, i'm happy with the Mass Effect series, i've wasted way to many hours into this series, but those were some damn good hours that i don't regrett loosing. So yeah, great games.
Might want to add that i am looking forward to the DLC ending that BioWare are working on.
