I posted this in a other thread so I'm posting it here (Just because I can)

OP: I thought this would have been obvious by now. Occupy ME doesn't want a new ending. They don't want closure. They want somebody to stroke their fragile little egos and tell them how important they are. Why do you think "vocal minority" freaks them out so badly?

This is not a movement. This is the utterly predictable BSN response to a game release. They were going to rage regardless of the ending, and they will rage at whatever Bioware gives them next. But they'll buy it. Never doubt that. They'd buy an empty box if it had the bioware logo on it, and run to the forum to issue the same set of complaints.

This guy is right and I'm just gonna add something,

Sure BioWare may have messed up the ending some but what about the rest of the game?
Was the rest of the game good? Are you going to judge the WHOLE GAME based on a less-than-satisfactory ending? Do you think that Flaming BioWare will get you anywhere?

And as Muzyka said
"Some of the criticism that has been delivered in the heat of passion by our most ardent fans, even if founded on valid principles, such as seeking more clarity to questions or looking for more closure, for example – has unfortunately become destructive rather than constructive. We listen and will respond to constructive criticism, but much as we will not tolerate individual attacks on our team members, we will not support or respond to destructive commentary."

So to those who completely bashed BioWare because of the final 10 minutes of a game, if you think that flaming, and desecrating BioWare's respectability is worth it I have one question to ask you...

How would YOU have ended it?

Oh, make no mistake .. we're going to judge the entire game series on the ending.

Mass Effect is an epic story; the ending is .. kinda important. The series deserves an epic ending, and it didn't  get it. That's why we're not happy.

It's also why we're not flaming/bashing Bioware. I love(d) Bioware, I trust(ed) Bioware, but they've betrayed both those things by giving me a half-assed ending to a game series that I've invested a substantial amount of time into.

But thanks for your feedback; it'd be a sad old world if we all had the same opinions. :)

As for me, I'll be over here -----> Holding that line.
