Would you rather free, minimal DLC or fully-featured, non-free DLC?

Personally I'd rather pay an extra $20 for an ideal ending (think Lair of the Shadow Broker detail and quality applied post-ending based off Indoctrination Theory).

Free DLC is nice, but what we're asking for is going to cost money if it's going to be done right.

How about the rest of BSN?

Free is nice....but if they are willing to work their tail (and tale) off to give us the perfect ending..I'm not opposed to paying.

I'd want the endings that were advertised (the 16 with no a/b/c choices). I'd pay cash money for them.

Edit: Couldn't find any mention of 16 endings outside of the stratedgy guide so my mistake.

I want it to be good. If it ends up costing an extra $10 or $20, kind of a dick move to make a profit on so many fan's distress, but oh well, I'll still buy it (provided it's actually the ending we've been asking for).

I'd rather they make assets matter throughout the entirety of the game as promised.

When that happens, almost everything will be fixed and the game can go back to being a 8.5 instead of a 6.5.

I will not pay for the product I bought to be as described.

Would you pay for your vacuum to have a suction tube or would you demand they provide one?

I've seen the statement on the a b c choices but I haven't seen any statement on the 16 choices. Do you have a link? Because I've been looking and I've seen nothing to that end.

I'd rather pay for a very finely-crafted array of endings that take into account all your choices, then get a free download that just gives you an ineffectual, text-based epilogue.

So yeah, even though I loathe myself for saying this: I would pay for a well-crafted improved ending DLC.

If they go all out and give us what they promised us in the first place... I'd be willing to pay for it. I'd be a little miffed that it came to this, but I'd buy it all the same.

ME3 is deserving of 16 endings that properly reflect on the major and minor choices the player makes throughout the trilogy.

So fully featured endings and I will pay if that's what it takes.

If the content is there, I'll pay for it. I would prefer if they tried to price it closer to "at cost", since it is a "fix" in many ways. I'll still pay full price for their other DLC once the ending is fixed and avoiding over-pricing the ending would build a lot of good will with me.

I'd be willing to pay.

Bioware have messed up, but DLC is not cheap to make. There are people who need to be paid, voice actors who need paycheques, artists etc. etc.

I am willing to accept that this - bad as it is - is Bioware's intention. They are not obligated to act but it is in their best interest to do so, and I'm willing to reward their effort with my cash.

If it's worth it, of course.

Free DLC , we already payed for the game, not going to pay to fix their mess up.
Only a idiot would do that.

What they have to realise is that once people have played the ending it is much more difficult to arouse the emotions at a later time. It will have to be exceptionally clever to pull that off. I think that would be easier in full dlc but if they could actually do it in a short one that would probably be better.

Free DLC is nice, but what we're asking for is going to cost money if it's going to be done right.

Given that it should have been included with the original game the cost of making it is irrelevant - it's not my fault Bioware shipped an incomplete game, and the customer should not have to pay to have it fixed.

Hint: Substitute "Mass Effect 3" for any other physical item; suppose what you been led to believe would be a cheeseburger did not come with any cheese - would you be lining up to pay extra for the cheese (after all, cheese costs money)?

$10. All I'm paying. And that's for something that was supposed to be in-game, along with some bonus mission. I will still have a slight sour taste in my mouth. If it's free and has quality, then the damage to Bioware's reputation will be undone in my eyes.

I'll need some reassurance that a large DLC is worth the cost before I shell out the money. I'm sure a lot of others will reticent to make a purchase, as well. A free download will get me playing right away and if it's decent enough will get me buying BioWare products once again. I was thinking of picking up SWTOR but until this debacle is resolved, nope.

I'd definitely pay. They've earned my continued loyalty, even in light of the Mass Effect 3 debacle.
