Would you rather free, minimal DLC or fully-featured, non-free DLC?

If they decide to touch the ending, they can go ahead and put in different outcomes for people who want something else and leave the existing stuff alone. If that proves to be impossible to do within the existing framework of the game, then I personally would at least like to see something regarding the secret cliff hanger. Whether I will pay to see that additional content or not depends on how interesting and in depth it is.

I want it to be good. If it ends up costing an extra $10 or $20, kind of a dick move to make a profit on so many fan's distress, but oh well, I'll still buy it (provided it's actually the ending we've been asking for).

Definitely a dick move considering they said ME3 was the end of Shepard's story.

And for the record, the only reason for the Stargazer kid and the old man is to hint that you can buy more DLC for more Shepard 'stories'.  That's the only meaning it ever had.

I want it to be done right. If that means I have to pay for it, then so be it. I'll be bitter about having to pay for it when I think the ending we got wasn't what we were promised, but I'd still far prefer I paid for it and it was done right rather than un-paid and rushed/more sub-par.

Only thing we should accept is free ending DLC with some extra as form of apology.
10-15 minutes worth more gametime to properly set things up for free.

They can then flesh out stuff with more junk in paid DLC.

This way everyone gets what they bought, game with proper ending. And if people appreciate Bioware enough, they can buy additional stuff for more hours.

Obviously not paying more to receive what we were promised in the first place would be preferable, but we need a proper comprehensive fix, with multiple, varied endings that have distinctly different outcomes, not just Reapers stop, Relays explode, Shepard dies, Normandy crashes in a selection of colours.

And that is going to require money Bioware will want back.

So yeah, to get My 6 Shepard's endings, from the heroic one that lives happily ever after, through the bittersweet self sacrifices and barely scraped through victory, to the git who screws everyone over and gets everyone killed, I'll happily fork out the cost of another N7 edition.

This is not the time for half measures, or just giving more details on the one size fits all, nonsensical, completely out of step with the rest of the game ending we have right now.

What you all speak of is nonsense. Why would you pay extra for something that was supposed to be included with the said "final product" social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/10405204/1#10405204

We are entitled to this "complete" product because we already payed for it.  If you want to pay more for it you are just playing into their game.

They have betrayed my trust and have tarnished their brand name in the hopes that you, "the loyal fan" will dish out a few bucks for more of the same. Don't be fooled. Remember that when Bioware was aquired by EA, they adopted this business model.

Go big or go home, I'd rather they swing for the fences.

For the 1000st time. I'd pay over $20 for fully featured ending DLC. No shame.

Pretty much, I'd buy the game again to get the taste of the original ending out of my mouth. With a proper ending I'd replay the game multiple times as opposed to letting the SP rot after my first playthrough.

"Minimal" is not a word that should apply to the true ending of a grand sci-fi epic.

If they deliver I will pay any price within reason.

They can suck it up and dig into their sales profit to cover the costs.

Once more... IT IS NOT DUTY OF CUSTOMER TO PAY THE BILL WHEN PROVIDER SCREWS UP!

Yes, it requires resources. And continuing in business requires someone to buy their games and DLC.
If we offer them two alternatives, either provide ending they should have done in the first place or start losing customers hard...

Well, ball is in their end of the court.

This is not time to become little lambs who can be suckered for more money by producing crap product which is unfinished and does not contain all the things promised. Go down that road and I promise that from that moment onward you can ALWAYS budget another 60 bucks to "fix" the game on top of the initially paid price for "full" game.

Fully-featured, paid DLC endings is what I would go with. It'd be nice if it were fully-featured AND free, but I highly doubt that would happen. Would rather have to pay for a good DLC ending/epilogue than get a free one that does not solve the problem at hand.

I don't want some minor patch slapped on those same ****ty endings - it just won't do.

I want a full quality endings overhaul with options that are actually affected by your decisions throughout the game.

I want endings to be logical, to be true to the overall hopeful theme of the series, to be truly conclusive and informative about the outcome of every ending, concerning the galaxy as a whole and Shepard and his\\her squadmates in particular. No cop-outs, no shortcuts, no plot holes and most importantly, no more speculations for everyone!

I don't want to see any more pretentious, out of place "art" endings, like synthesis.  Yes, I see what you did there, BioWare, and I didn't like your preferred ending. Roleplaying games may be art, but they are roleplaying games for a reason - they are not inflexible media like books or movies. Don't try to make out of your product something it is not. If you establish that your game has wide options varieties for the player, please don't jerk them out of players hands in the last minute just in the name of art.

I want an option for a happier ending, not just same 3 bleak outcomes.  You can leave bleak outcomes for those players who fancy these kinds of endings, but don't deprive many others of a happier one. Many players want to leave the game satisfied, not depressed and dissapointed by Shepard's death inevitability, abandonment of closest companions, and\\or post-apocalyptic state of the galaxy. And most importantly they want to have a satisfaction of all their hard work done throughout the series by aknowledgement of their accomplishements in the end. ME series is an RPG after all - players deserve to reap what they sow in full.

And lastly, I don't want to see a godly villain coming out of the blue in the last minute of the game who can overrule everything that
was established throughout the series. The Catalyst must go to whatever plot vent he came out of and die there for all I care.

I'm sure I can come up with some more pointers later, but as it is these were my main dissapointment factors with the game. And, yes, admitting how invested I am in the series, I will pay for the proper endings DLC IF they address what I wrote above.
