I'd like an expansion disc much like DAO: Awakening, featuring 8+ hours of gameplay and more stuff for the multiplayer.
Would you rather free, minimal DLC or fully-featured, non-free DLC?

Depends. If it's just some slides after the outro, it should be free. However I favour something the size of LotSb and paying for it.

Free if they are just doing another rush job to try and appease fans.
DLC if they make it as large as a Bethesda Expansion.

As long as it gives us the endings the series deserves, I'd honestly pay just about anything to fix this mess.

Redo the entirety of Priority: Earth with the quality of the suicide mission?
Yeah, I'd pay for that.
Give the ME2 squadmates involvement and I'll even pay premium.

I will pay for quality entertainment. Despite the end, which I did not hate, nor was I pleased, ME3 was a good fun romp. I will gladly pay for a DLC that addresses the general stated weaknesses of the endings.

Full featured and paid through the nose if they want. Ain't about the money, honey.
It really is surprisingly difficult to convince a company to extort money out of a captive audience.

This seems a better question for a poll.

Yeah I'd rather they made a good job of it and produced sane fully fleshed out satisfying endings even if I have to pay for it.

Free, full-featured DLC. We paid for an ending that was promised to conclude the series with divergent endings where our choices mattered. The game did not deliver on that promise. Therefore, we have not received the ending we were promised, and we deserve it, without paying a second time.
Paying again is wrong, and I refuse to do so, at least until I can confirm for myself that the new/alternate/fixed endings are worth the 5 to 10 bucks they'll probably end up charging. I already paid 80 for the CE. I shouldn't be charged more for what I was promised on the box of the original purchase.

How about a free ending slideshow answering most of our questions (do have to leave hooks for future). That doesn't even need much coding really, and background artwork could be unused concept art that maybe didn't make it in the CE Mini art book/Art of Mass Effect book.
Then have all the Paid DLC's (Four or so?) lead up to a better ending, make "Perfect Living, with Little Blue Babies/Krogan Adoptions Ending" need like...8000 EMS or something, with those four (or so) Paid DLC's having, say 1500 possible in it. But you'd also need at least say 90% Galactic Readiness or something...

I would gladly pay for a full featured DLC.
If they would just do that, I have no doubt that ME would go down as THE greatest gaming achievment, adventure, and experience of all time and that would stand for many years to come. Not just in my books but everywhere.

There is no "rather" for me here. I will go for the option BioWare will present to me this time.
I would pay up to $30 - $40 for a fully developed ending, but I would not mind receiving a smaller free one either.
I have voiced my opinion, and I see BioWare is listening. Now I trust the Core Team to deliver. I really do trust them, and I may be a minority on this one, but I'll accept what they bring because I have loved this series all the way up to this point and have had hundereds of enjoyable hours - only thanks to the team that have put down so much effort into it's production. I salute them and is eagerly waiting for further announcements.

Fully-featured, non-free DLC that provides:
A way for the reapers to win
A way to keep the mass relays and synthetic life intact.
More ways to resolve the reaper threat
Examples
By refusing the star child and fighting them with the war assets you've collected
Being able convince the AI star god child that synthetics and organics can coexist
An option for Shepard to live and the player bing able to choose what Shepard does after the reaper war.
A super happy mega ending that A LOT if not MOST people want
Closure.

For what people are asking (full ending rework in some cases) it's not even realisti to ask for it to be free. If they take time, develope a ending that makes sense and pour as much love into it as they've obviously put into the rest of it I'll happily pay for it.

Free would be nice. Paid would be more likely to be quality work. But my expectations will also be higher then. Bigger risk. Bigger reward.

It may not be quite answering the question as posed, but I want to see those Reapers fall cracked and burning from the sky. I want to see their bellies ripped open and the remains of those uncountable billions of poor lost souls finally go to their resting places, rather than stored up in liquid vats for future use al la the dreadful fate of the Protheans/Collectors. I want all those lost lives, over all those millions of years, to know that by fighting the good fight, generation after generation, species after species, adding inch by painful inch to the Crucible, that that fight was worth it, was worth all of it, and that by fighting the good fight even the Gods themselves can be torn from the sky, and people can live in peace and freedom at last.
That's what I want.
Free or paid for, I don't mind.

Look, I just want information. Did every person in the galaxy die at the end, or not? We really don't know right now. If it's a real ending - happy or tragic - with the consequences shown, I'll pay.

$20? Hell no. $10 at the most, otherwise I'm just youtubing the ending.
