Full featured.
Would you rather free, minimal DLC or fully-featured, non-free DLC?

Personally I'd rather pay an extra $20 for an ideal ending (think Lair of the Shadow Broker detail and quality applied post-ending based off Indoctrination Theory).
Free DLC is nice, but what we're asking for is going to cost money if it's going to be done right.
How about the rest of BSN?
My thoughts exactly. I've sunk so much into the game and effort to get it changed, that I'll pay for a well done ending. I really hope that we don't just get longer cut scenes with the same 3 choices.

If they promised to scrap the godchild & bury him in the deepest, darkest corner of the dungeon in literary history, and replace the entire ending showcasing more of our assets in action culminating in a proper choice-driven ending, then yes, I'd totally pay for that.
Just gotta convince myself that this wasn't their tactic to begin with

Pay for 15-20 minute epilogue? You must be joking. They broke it, they have to fix it.
I would be up for 8 hour extension like DAA, but bioware have already said thy aren't interested in extending shepherds story.

The game needs a ludicrous amount of work to make it worthwhile, I can't see them doing it with a free DLC.
A 'heavily discounted' effort that rewrites enough of the ending issues for the game to be able to stand up is realistically about the only thing that can happen. It's gonna take a major climb down on behalf of everyone at EA/Bioware, however, which is not going to happen, and it's going to wreck production schedules for years to come.
What that means is that they either enter a deathspiral, or against all evidence presented so far, they own up to the situation after three bad games and try to fix this.
I'm not hopeful that anyone involved really has the chops to get it done, frankly.

I cannot tell if I just posted in this thread or if this is another "payz for DLC" thread.

the only way I would pay for the ending is if they added lots of content like 8 hours of stuff plus new weapons and gear and the dog

I want the full ending and I'm willing to pay for it.

I'm looking for the level of quality and content akin to Fallout 3's "Broken Steel" DLC, if that's what they offer I'd gladly pay for it.

Fully featured not free for me please. If they're gonna put the effort to make it.

I would be open to paying for a complete set of endings. Today's comments from Bioware seems to indicate they thought people would enjoy the endings. If they do a good job trying to fix it, I am willing to pay something for it. Getting the voice actors, writesr, etc back for more work would have some costs. I think fans can pick up some of it and Bioware should pick up some of it.
If they do a really good job on the new endings, this will be a story about how feedback from fans produced a superior product. It may also generate more interest in the series on the whole.

A quick bump for this thread, on the grounds that my own post on page 3 is particularly good.

At first I thought "this guy has a huge ego, and I don't like him"
Then your post was good.

Edit: Lots of stuff to do in the DLC? Sure, I'll pay 10$
An ending where it's JUST a new ending or two? Eff that, it's free or youtube.

A meaty, fleshed out paid DLC with plenty of content > free rushjob where BW has to cut corners.

Calling all people that have some sort of common sense, look at the people saying Fully-Featured Free DLC. Point and laugh! HAHAHAHA!
In all seriousness, how can anyone expect them to make like a 2 hour long DLC that takes all of your choices into account and is not a glitchy mess and you want it to be free? That cannot happen, workers have to get paid and the company has to make a profit. That's how this works. And trust me when I say that there are way more logical people like me willing to pay for a big ending then there are narrow-minded people like you guys.
It'd be great if it was free but it's completely unreasonable to expect/demand it.
So yeah, obviously I'd pay (only $5-10) for a new ending if it was great. If not great, then youtube it is.

Both: something small and free that fixes the plotholes. Something more substantial (that I would be willing to buy) that adds an expanded epilogue, allowing the players to see how their choices really did effect the world.

I am totally down with buying a full on expansion with all the trimmings with standard market pricing.
I think anything less may not be enough.

Fully featured, non-free DLC, AFTER I have read fan reviews, mind you.
