free full-featured. Otherwise, I'll pay for it, but if it isn't amazing then I'm ending any support for bioware. If it's slightly disappointing but free, I'll be wary of bioware but might buy future DLC. We shouldn't be paying for a good ending, since that's exactly what they promised. What they gave us was opposite of the 23 different endings and totally went against everything they said going into ME3. That's why I feel entitled to a full-featured ending for free.

I've said I wouldn't buy another COD game after MW2....haven't even played at a friend's house since. Not buying halo 4, and certainly not paying for any ME3 DLC after everything that's happened so far unless they prove to us that they care about us a lot more than potential money.

I paid for the $80 collector's edition because I love ME that much. I would hope that would bank me a complete ending for free, but I know myself too well. If it's a truly fleshed out DLC that fulfills the promise that my choices mattered, I'll cough up the cash. *sigh* It would be preferable than a half done ending just to shut us up.

I'd pay but I'd expect very high quality. Not something stuffed with filler like Arrival and Overlord but something finely crafted that really enriches the ME universe like Lair of the Shadow Broker combined with the best bits of Stolen Memories. Plenty of in game missions and it should be possible to get maximum war assets without having to use multiplayer. Perhaps Retake Omega which when completed would open up a new hubworld.

Mass Effect has always been about the journey for me rather than the destination so would not be too bothered if there wasn't loads of multiple endings. But still want a satisfying and epic ending which resolves the story of Shepard and the Reapers. Even the happiest ending would be bittersweet as many billions are dead on many devastated worlds. And for the epilogue I'd rather it hints at what the future holds rather than explicitly spelling it out.

fully-featured-free-DLC, they promised 16+ endings, they deliverd 3, so why should we pay for the other 13 endings they told us about? I bought a game where the developer ensured me a high replayvalue and 16+ different endings. I want this game and not another game with non-free DLC...

For the endings, I would like something in the next 3 months be it a small slideshow or something that satisfies many preferably free or at 400 ms points. Then I would happily buy a bunch of 800 points DLC as i have for all the others.

Free dlc is always nice, but if they offer a full feature dlc that would address at least most of our reasonable grievances then $10 or maybe even $20 would be ok.

If free and full featured is possible, then I would prefer not to pay.

If it's just not feasible, then I would gladly hand over my dollar bills.

I want something good, free=/=good 90 percent of the time.

Of course I would prefer it to be free, but I understand that these things cost to produce. So yes I would pay for it, though $20 is a bit steep.

And as others have stated, Bioware has done more than enough to earn my loyalty, even in spite of the ending. I've been playing their games since the days of Baldur's Gate and I'll keep playing them as long as they make them.

It shouldn't matter that it costs extra to produce, as it should have been a part of the final product, and therefore also in the budget.

I really don't understand why people fold so easily.

They wouldn't be working for free. Either you admit mistakes happened and are willing to correct them, or you're not. Free DLC would mend the wounds that the last few bioware products have made to it's fanbase. Free DLC says that Bioware still cares about their fans in ME3 and future products. Free DLC means that their fans and customers will continue purchasing future products. The immediate cost would be minimal at this point. The decline of their fanbase and consumer confidence for the future by charging for it would cost them much more.

The reality is we should not have to say we'll pay for bioware to fix their mess-up. Otherwise you're insinuating that it's OK for subpar products to pass.

If bioware isn't willing to put the effort into both good content and it being free, I'll bite ONCE and then I'll never bite again.

I don't see it that way, really. They made a decision that was unpopular that we would like to see rectified, but everything I've seen suggests that their intent was sincere and it was as it was meant to be, whether we like it or not. Which means an alternate would be extra, and thus not free. I don't need to think it was broken to still want it changed.

As long as the DLC is good and extensively elaborates on every lose end, I am willing to pay whatever the price might be.

The one thing that made me a Mass Effect fan...is the very thing that was missing from ME3. Choices. Choices that actually impacted the game and how it ends. What ME3 delivers was nothing even remotely close to a choice of how the game would end. To end such an amazing trilogy by creating endings right out of some greek tragedy ruins ME3. Let me just say, I was a diehard Halo fan and no other game to me measured up. But after playing ME I was hooked and quickly changed camps. The idea of the player really impacting the outcome in a game, not just following a set path of missions was awesome to me. I truly expected ME3 to live up to the success of its predecessors. I was also disappointed by the mission endings for Tali and Legion.

I hope that Bioware comes up with DLC that truly reflects the choice factor they created with ME and ME2. Rather than the no matter what choices you've made you DIE scenario. If Bioware comes up with a truly worth-while set of endings I would spend the money for it. But only after its confirmed that it is worth it.

Very simply if Bio puts in the effort and work and time, time away from other projects and away from their lives to fix the ending of course I will pay for it.

If I thought worth it the cost, I'd be perfectly willing to pay for ending DLC. As nice as it'd be, it's a bit rich to expect Bioware to work on something like that gratis.

That does, of course, assume that actual work is put into the idea. Not some half-assed thing that costs a ton like some DLC these days

I'd like paid premium DLC.
It's the best option really, gives them time to make quality content (remember LotSB) and they know most of us are going to pay for it. Win situation for all.

Well of course I would RATHER it be free 'cause, let's be honest, who wants to pay money for stuff?

But if I need to pay for a fully-featured DLC that fixes the horrible endings as well as creates new content, then that's fine as well.

Ideally, I think something along the lines of Dragon Age: Awakenings would be best.

Bioware have messed up, but DLC is not cheap to make. There are people who need to be paid, voice actors who need paycheques, artists etc. etc.

I am willing to accept that this - bad as it is - is Bioware's intention. They are not obligated to act but it is in their best interest to do so, and I'm willing to reward their effort with my cash.

If it's worth it, of course.
