BioWare, you wanted commentary on how to fix this, start with the FALSE ADVERTISING!

Bioware will never admit they lied to their customers (Even though they did). It opens the door to being sued.

I would love to have an explanation for this...

Yep...it would be nice to hear about this
The end just seems more like a separate game than the ending. I just lost connection to it on the final moments

I too would like some answers. There is a whole lot of explaining that needs to happen on why they abandoned all these promises and came up with that completely out of place ending! Also why did I bother saving the rachni...for a little bit of a war asset????

Dont forget the whole citadel controls the mass relays from ME1 vs the reapers steal the citadel in ME3 - its like the first game never existed.
But the saddest part, is all the Icons below people avatars in these forums.
The Bioware staff may read the forum, but look at the Bioware games registered by those customers below them - do they also count for nothing?

I kinda feel bad for BioWare, but I feel even worse for everyone who expected multiple endings with lots of variaty.
I konw, I'm one of them.

Didn't ME3 get put back as a result of the negative DA2 feedback?

That looks like a tall order to meet. I'm sure the 9% and 1% Jessica talks so liberally about would be happy if they met just a handful of those promises. It still is disturbing to see some of the quotes however. Especially the fact that some of them were from 2012.

Though I think "promise[d]" is a bit much, BioWare broke a gigantic rule--don't create unrealistic expectations. I feel either something was marketed that could never be delievered or (assuming the current ending wasn't the intended one) BioWare was pushed into a corner by release dates/higher-ups at EA.

If you didn't set expectations like these, we wouldn't be this upset. It seems so much like you made last minute changes to leave the ending intentionally ambiguous to make way for more DLC. Please don't start treating us like cash cows, and don't start treating your games like just another way to add coins to your money pile.
You made these promises, we would like something at least resembling the product we were promised.

Yeah, next time warn us you want to give us all the same ending and that you're feeling heavily inspired by the Matrix. It'll avoid me making the mistake of pre-ordering a Collector's Edition

Great article. I wish I could express myself half as well as most of the people on these forums. I will be steering clear of purchasing anything bioware related until there is a new dlc that fixes the problems that we all have with it now, including the endings and loading problems. Which I don't think we should have to pay for at this point, with all the lies and belittling of the "most passionate fans".
