This is my favorite:
Hudson: “Yeah, and I’d say much more so, because we have the ability to build the endings out in a way that we don’t have to worry about eventually tying them back together somewhere. This story arc is coming to an end with this game. That means the endings can be a lot more different. At this point we’re taking into account so many decisions that you’ve made as a player and reflecting a lot of that stuff. It’s not even in any way like the traditional game endings, where you can say how many endings there are or whether you got ending A, B, or C.....The endings have a lot more sophistication and variety in them.”

Exactly what they should address, and exactly what my problem with the game is. Sure I have wishes about the LI and Squadmates, but the promises they made for my money need to be held. That is all we are asking.

I'm not sure they know what to say or do to fix up all those broken promises. Thus they try and pretend they don't exist and hope the fans forget.

The quote that bothered me the most is the one you didn't list....where Casey says they aren't going to 'pull a Lost' with the ending and leave more questions than answers.

Interview with Mac Walters (Lead Writer)
http://popwatch.ew.c...-3-mac-walters/

“[The presence of the Rachni] has huge consequences in Mass Effect 3. Even just in the final battle with the Reapers.”

That made me chuckle

Yes, thanks for the post, I support this, since I want to get this ending fixed, I want to play Mass Effect again, I want too play multiplayer again! I just feel it is pointless to start up the game, since the spirit of Mass Effect died with the ending. Get the spirit back in the game, and I'm all yours again :-)

I wouldn't get your hopes up. They are compromising and everyone wins, I highly doubt they are going to apologize directly for every single detail. Quit while you're ahead.

I am just giving them what they asked for.  If they choose to ignore it, then that is what they'll do.

At this point I don't think they can fix all the broken promises, but they should sure as hell try. I will certainly not forget and will not let them forget as long as I can voice my opinion.

Completely agree. @#$%'ing liars. I don't hate Bioware (heck, I even liked DA2)...what I hate are these specific liars. I hope Bioware/EA realizes just how big of a liability they are, how much money they are losing as a result of these individuals, and does something about it.

They could start by at least admitting the broken promises but they are most likely scared of the Big Men at EA who could care less since they got their money alreadyImage IPB

What little respect I still had for Bioware just got drained by this thread. After reading this full, comprehensive list of lies, I realize just how much Bioware lied to us. While I do admit that I did enjoy Mass Effect 3 as a whole, I no longer trust Bioware. I'll pay for ending DLC if it comes out, but then I'm done with Bioware. Other developers are clearly willing to work harder to please their fans.

I would love to see these promises incorporated with current ending, if we get that were all squared and bring on the dlc/DA3/more ME games!

Yep. Those comments netted me a free game. The consequences of your dishonesty extends beyond your own bottom line. Your retail partners are taking the hit as well.

Um, I think they followed through on a lot of these advertisements. There were many big decisions up until the final moments.

Casey Hudson (Director)
http://www.computera...ly-good/?page=2

“There is a huge set of consequences that start stacking up as you approach the end-game. And even in terms of the ending itself, it continues to break down to some very large decisions. So it's not like a classic game ending where everything is linear and you make a choice between a few things - it really does layer in many, many different choices, up to the final moments, where it's going to be different for everyone who plays it.”

Also, please use the search filter, there are twenty other threads with all the same information.

They knew full well that what they advertised was not true. They said they wanted speculation from everyone after the game came out, and yet before they said all the answers would be given.

I Think that they genuinly beleived what they said but when it came down to the deadline the guys at EA said too bad just put something together and release it so we can get our paycheck and too hell with the fans or what you said in interviews. They cant even admit it now because they are afraid of losing their jobs. If it ruins Bioware it doesnt matter because the Big guys got their money and if profits go down they will just go work somewhere else and do the same.
