This describes what is wrong with the ending exactly. It's not just that we didn't get the ending we wanted: we didn't get the ending we were PROMISED.

Yup, we want what they promised or at least something that does ME justice.
And the next time don't lie to your customers, if you changed your mind or couldn't reach on time just say: "hey, forget what we said, it will be entirely different" or "we can't do it on schedule, we will make it as patch or dlc"

They probably set a set of answers on how what they say fits ME3.

Just curious in which face Dr. Ray will make when he realizes they think he is mentally limited enough to fall for those.

The quote that gets me the most is the one that states there won't be "A, B, or C" endings. That, more than any other, is an explicit falsehood, because A, B, or C is exactly what we've been given. It's astounding, really.

Great post, OP. It is really disheartening to read all those quotes in one big post. Just makes one even angrier.
Part of why so many of us are so angry is because of the false advertisement. Sure, ideas get scrapped and rewritten over the course of development, but the ending is just like an 180 degree turn of the most important aspect of the series, the freedom of choice and the building of your own protagonist and their story.

Amazing catalogue . I would encourage that the sites out there such as the Retake site and the War Assets site etc start compiling all of this data that is being pulled together by our great friends .

The more centralized and accessible all of these resources become , the better educated , prepared , and organized the movement is . This will help disseminate information to our friends and those who might be thinking about buying anything from Bioware .

Educating our friends and spreading it by word of mouth is one way in which we can engage in the counter-PR campaign . By showing the world that we had legitimate expectations said by Bioware itself , we can prove to them that we have been mishandled as customers and why it is legitimate for us to affect their sales and voice our concerns .

Again , I encourage the OPers as well to contact the various venues outside of BSN even as you continue to post here in order to get this information out more .

This is what I want a response on more than anything. I understand pre-release hype. I understand developers embellishing their work. But with ME3, we got exactly what they told us we would not get.

good post... maybe part of the new "site rules and conduct" should be that BW themselves should stop with all its blatant lies and PR BS!!!

Also, Bioware do something about the MP, it should not affect the SP experience in terms of EMS rating. You all promised on numerous occasions when the MP was announced that it was a extra and had no impact.

ANOTHER BIOWARE LIE.... "That said, SP can still be played all by itself without any kind of multiplayer or third party and you can still get the absolute best ending. This just gives you new options to be able to get that ending." - Jesse Houston

Making a poor ending is one thing but continuously misleading and lying to your fans, that's low. Its almost like BW have lost faith in themselves and their product, thus feeling the need to push the marketing BS. Let the quality of your work do the talking and the rest will take care of itself.

I've lost so much respect for you Bioware. I know you might not care but I've been buying your games for the last 13 years now, along with dlc etc. At the moment that has come to an end until you learn to respect your consumers again by dealing honestly with them.

Its strange how the moderators don't seem to have too much to say on these threads?

For additional constructive criticism, I wish to point out that many different threads in these fora have well written and clear statements of problems with different aspects of Mass Effect 3. The vast majority of these have no response. We have nothing more we can add, unless you'd like us to check for further gameplay and narrative issues with your product? Above all, we would appreciate in-depth and comprehensive responses to the issues of:

- limited ways to raise galactic readiness multiplier, combined with the necessity of so doing.

- flawed implementation of journal and quest system

- significant bugs in savefile imports

- substantially constricted interactivity with the setting (fedex quests from overheard snippets on the citadel with no associated mission or locale aside from the galaxy map)

- narrative/plot issues with the last mission of the game (assault on earth/storm the citadel)

- narrative/plot issues with the final cinematic

- consumer feelings of betrayal and purchase of a substandard product.

Without an open and prompt dialogue which engages with these points on a point by point level, respecting that the points have sufficient validity to merit a thorough response, we who are dissatisfied have no further options for critique.
