Considering what we have seen so far? No, I highly doubt they will never officially acknowledge it. However, if they keep these things in mind while doing whatever work it is that they are doing then I consider it a step forward (baby step perhaps, but at least a step).Scoob wrote...

If they don't and any of you are still going to buy any of their stuff then this industry and this entire community deserves to go down the drain.
Liars and people loving to be lied to... sorry, that's not my world. That's not the way I develop games, that's not the way I want to play games.
Absolutely. I'm not going to hold video games to less of a standard than any other product I buy, and if a company lies to me about what that product entails, I am definitely going to voice my displeasure. That's the only responsible way to react.

those are not advertisements.
Technically speaking, they are. Especially if the quotes originate from articles, websites or magazines which also feature advertising or paid promotion of the game.
If it's part of the marketing and promotion and it's not delivered or factually incorrect when the product is launched, it is therefore false.
I wanted to touch on this just a little bit. He's right. They are advertisements. In the military, I was told, repeatedly, that I was a representative of the US, whether I liked it or not, while overseas. That my individual actions would reflect on how people saw the US and my respective branch of the military.
That is, as far as I'm concerned, no different with a company. Except in this instance we're looking at comments made from upper members of the company. If you worked at a company and you walked into an interview with anyone, your very words and presence will reflect upon your company; whether you like it or not. If that interview turned the topic towards a game your company was making, your words are going to reflect on that product, and will most certainly be taken as an advertisement of such.
Most, if not all, of these interviews were done with the express purpose to talk about Mass Effect 3. To put forth questions and receive answers in relation to said game. That is advertisement, plan and simple.

Awesome post! Sums up how true fans of the series feel and as a consumer how we feel ripped off

So far all the official responses about the ending have been pretty weak. I'd really like to see someone willing to address THIS particular part of the controversy.
Not really for all the detractors to be able to bask in a "so THERE!" moment, but more because I can't comprehend the absolute disconnect from what we were promised leading up to the release and what was actually delivered to us. What exactly happened that made things turn out so drastically different from what they were promising us just months before release?

What a bunch of pathetic whiners. Sure it broke my heart when Tali died and then I blew up the galaxy, but it was a great ride to get there.

I appreciate that Bioware cares and I believe they do but the fact that these false statements have not yet been addressed indicates to me that Bioware has no good answers to give. Props for coming up with this compilation of false advertising. I say we keep it active until we get an answer.

Thanks for posting this OP.
Those quotes really say something about all this. Some of them were even dated not long before release. Did Bioware think we just wouldn't notice the discrepancy? Honestly, this is the most damning stuff out there. Really seems they lied/deliberately misled us. How can they defend the endings when they run completely counter to what was promised pre-release?

After reading these.... OMG they seriously did say all those things? It's like they did the direct opposite of those.

this boils down to: Our Choices Should Matter.
this is the MAIN REASON why we were so let down by the ending.
we were promised that our choices were the keystone to the story, and the endingS.
in the end we got: choose A, B, C. watch the 'splosions. yup that's it.
we can't let Mass Effect end like this.
Hold The Line.

Ultimately, whether the ending was good or not doesn't matter. What matters is that the ending was explicitly not what was promised by company representatives like Hudson and Gamble. You cannot hide behind 'artistic integrity.'

So is this false advertising a new angle you guys are trying to exploit as validation for your cause or something?
Seems like you guys come up with a new one every week.

Hold the line! We will not be flat out lied to by corporate representatives... especially the one making the game's storyline!
