Who cares if they don't exist anymore. They would still be fun to play against.

The multiplayer ties into the campaign .... But who's to say they were all destroyed in the second game?

Neither enemys nor maps should be payable dlc, it will fracture the community, i would enjoy these but i am against taking fractions of the game only for different folks that require to have these to play with others, it ruins gameplay

classes and weapons from the bioware store on the other hand i believe wouldnt, if these classes stay balanced and are fun

A Geth engineer/infiltrator/soldier?
An AI Like EDI
Vorcha?
More guns?
Guns from me1 like the gorgon (cerberus ar with natural shield piercing, aka ignored partly defense and went straight to hp)

(Threshaer maw?^^)

*edit*
The factions and gameplay could be greatly boosted with enemys and areas from both me1 and 2 (rachni? mercenaries?)

Would be cool but chances are it will cost money and multiplayer DLC that costs money is always lame.

No buying new maps/enemies

It fractures the community. It is literally the dumbest move any MP game can make.

So i guess you are content on playing the same maps over and over? Not me. ME is a big enough game where the majority of players will buy the DLC so it wouldn't fracture it as much as you are making it out to be.

I want new maps, new weapons, classes and enemies.

Technically, none of the other enemies exist either...

Most large packs are 1200 microsoft points which is = to $15. Wich i think is fair for at least 4 new maps, 12 new weapons and a few new characters and enemies.

I wasn't disapointed when i purchased the BF3 Back 2 Karkand pack which was priced at 1200.

I'd love to fight the Collectors again. As for their lackies... Well, I guess fighting a Praetorian and a half dozen Scions is only slightly worse than fighting two Banshees and a trio of Brutes.

At once.

In close quarters.

With only a Katana II (GODDAMN YOU RANDOM WEAPON DROPS!).

I am neither dissapointed with b2k, but i got it as gift from my bf (like a get out of 6 card) and personally was not willing to dish out more then 8€

Maps had been once community and there have been great many maps in online games, and yet they are paid to for nowadays splitting communitys apart

Guns on the other hand i do can understand and am willing to pay for a well fleshed weapon or sp mission, if it is reasonable

Mp maps just shred communitys apart

Weren't the Collectors wiped out in the ending of ME2? Unless there is a hidden enclave of Collectors no one knew about, they are extinct.

Why does everyone think that it is impossible for Collectors to live outside of that one little base Shepard blew up?

MP paid DLC is always stupid.

If they want to open up the purchasing options for Bioware points for specific gears/characters, let them, but fragmenting multiplayer map base only works if you have a huge base in the MP community...

I would only pay for SP DLC (after endings fix, or additions) but paying for MP content in Mass Effect just seems weird

If they do add new maps/enemies, they can't charge the community for them as that would fracture the community.

Gief new armor customization as a payable DLC instead. It works nice and really doesn't touch the community balance :D

To all those claiming that the Collectors do not exist anymore, may I point you to the codex entry Reaper Wars: The Miracle at Palaven. Collectors are officially present, so they do still exist in some form.

Because the Collector Base was their 'homeworld'? And it was established that they rarely emerged from beyond the Omega 4 relay? And the only ship of theirs that was known about was the cruiser destroyed by the Normandy at the start of the suicide mission?

Agreed. While it would be cool I don't think the ME MP community is big enough to survive a split. They're going to have to do something though because while I think it's fun now, horde style game-play will only keep my attention (and others I assume) for so long

Collector SWARMS. AKA the swarms of insect-like things that were used to paralyse the colonists on Freedoms Progress, Horizon, and countless other colonies. Not the Collectors themselves.

Who's to say there weren't a few Collector ships out flying around the galaxy when we destroyed the base? They didn't know we were coming, so it's not like they all went back to HQ to wait for that pesky human and his/her galactic Dirty Dozen to attack.

As for mercenary groups, don't use Blue Suns, Blood Pack or Eclipse...make it new merc groups we haven't heard of yet. Those three are the biggest, but I am sure there are many more.

What about an army of rogue mechs, like the ones we chased down to Capek in ME2? Give us the mechs we fought in ME2 plus a few new types to round them out with variety...a mech engineer or infiltrator, and a mid-level mech between the light mechs and the heavies...the mech equivalent of a Marauder or Centurion.

And what about something completely new...a pirate/scavenger/raider faction or something like that?

I was rather curious why there were none of the reaper/collector enemies in ME3, like the Praetorian, or Scions. Those aren't exactly "Collector" specific. They'd be hell to fight in MP though!

And what about indoctrinated Alliance forces? Rogue platoons of N7s...etc...
