I got it to work and it's nearly identical to my ME1->ME2 face. I am very disappointed though for Bioware not fixing this.

Good, glad it helped. Did also make a clarification on the other post.

I have not been able to play my game in which I have paid 60 dollars for because of this problem. Sure I could play as someone else but whats the point of having customized characters that can be transferred to the next game if your not going to hold up on your end. Not only haven't you held up it seems you are ignoring us. After patch 2 didn't work it would be nice to get a simple post saying you are working on a another fix.

It is most probably that there is no other fix coming for this problem. You can fix your face by yourself, explained in other posts in this Thread, or you accept what you get.

I dont think a fix is coming, we have to use the Gibb method or make a new face.

Either way that sucks.

So, some months back I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and I was contacted by a representative from Electronic Arts, but today I got an email that left a bad taste in my mouth:

"I got back word on the facial import issue and they have informed me that it is related to the coding for the game being different from the previous two. They have seen a minor trend in customer’s experiencing slight variations in the original creations from ME 1 and 2. They have informed me that the patch that was released over a month ago addressed this, but they are still seeing a few one-off cases where customers are still experiencing it.

Unfortunately, from my understanding, there is nothing they can do from their end to resolve it due to it being related to coding and the small amount of people experiencing it doesn’t warrant the literally thousands of dollars it would cost to push another patch through."

I politely told him I'm boycotting BioWare from this point on. The issue isn't going to be fixed. They have our money. They don't care. As helpful as this represenative was, he was a contractor hired by EA. He wasn't even an employee of EA or BioWare. It's nice to know they really appreciate their long term fans. I've been with them since the original Knights of the Old Republic.

Not anymore.

One off cases...
Right.
100% of the characters in my Xbox do not import correctly and do not look remotely close to their original faces. Wrong hair, wrong hair color, wrong eye color and so on...
8 different characters and no one looks like it should.

I can't believe I'm so unlucky to have got 8 one-off cases on 8 characters I played...
If a few people can make up Lazarus Project in their free time, they should be able to do the same in half the time.

I'm not afraid to say I'm willing to PAY for a face importer DLC to have my characters working as they should in ME3
