I think there will be de-facto LI DLC. It was hinted through-out the game about possibilities, Palaven with Garrus, Kaidan and his missing biotic team and probably something with the Yahg and Liara etc. If you romanced them then it will be part of it.
And aside the LI, James needs dlc because he doesn't feel like a complete part of game without the loyalty mission type thing where you learn more about them.

I agree, imho Javik felt like more of a squad member than James and he's DLC...

Idk what they could do for us Thanemancers though in terms of missions (have someone acknowledge his death and give us more that one conversation with him goes without saying, OBVIOUSLY). A pre-death mission? Some kind of closure mission with Kolyat after the fact?

I doubt they would do it for the ME2 LI's but i could potentially see them doing it with the ME3 crew. I would love spending more time with Liara and Ashley.

I would love more li time, before and after ending, but must have a new ending first. Garrus and shep rebuilding palaven or kaidan and shep taking his mom on a vacation to rannoch, he said he wanted to take her to space after the war.

If they fix the ending I would buy it. But I think it is nearly impossible to programm such a DLC. Image all the possible LI they have to consider. If they consider to create a DLC just for Tali or Liara I wouldn`t complain

It could even just be a 15 minute conversation or something, anything... They can still milk ME3 with heaps of DLC should they choose too. So in doing my part, im bumping this thread... For them.

While I agree, if they don't fix the ending or make it a little bit brighter then I probably wouldn't..... Na who am I kidding of course I would.. It'd just make it that much more depressing when it finishes.

As nice as an idea as this is, I'm not sure I see it happening. I can see extra dialogue/cut scenes happening in a post-ending DLC. i.e. a "what do you want to do with your life now" situation. From that you could pick "let's get married", "how about those kids you promised?" "the military is my life" etc etc. I don't see it being expanded on much more than that, unfortunately. This is a 3rd person action RPG, not a romance sim. I just don't think a LI only DLC would really 'fit the tone' you know?
Don't get me wrong, I'd love the opportunity to propose to Ash or something. I guess we can but hope....

I have always said as a female casual rpg gamer I would always support LI DLC I would even pay premium for it. That being said this is a special case for me, I will only buy DLC if the ending is fixed to make logical sense and deliver emotional closure and satisfaction, I want to walk away feeling like I won not like I picked just how bad to lose. Once that is fixed I will be happoy to tell Bioware to shut up and take my money.

Why? BW has intentionally made all these characters deep and it's a testament to them that so many fans care about these characters... I don't see any embarrasment with wanting to see things develop more.

I just had a good idea for how they could do a mission revolving around a LI
All LI's would get the same base mission, IE, that of a simple date on the citadel... that goes to heck very quickly. Something along the lines of Cerberus trying to kill Shepard when he/her is away from most of his/her crew and/or to kill his/her LI. The dialouge on this mission would differ depending on the LI of course.
