Jessica should get a cameo in Mass Effect 4. Maybe as some paragon peace worker that spends her time consoling angry hordes of batarian refugees.

I'd totally buy that DLC.

I am totally on board with this idea.

Hey guys,
I don't know if it's bad manners to respond to an appreciation thread about yourself but oh well.

Thank you guys so much for the kind words. I know you didn't have to do it, and it means a lot to me to hear it. Possibly I've spent too much time in the PR Machine thread in the past 24 hours and didn't realize that the whole point of the thread is about not trusting people like me :P So I got bummed out and confused when people were picking apart everything I said there.

It's not fair to shut myself off from engaging with the community because a few people momentarily spoiled my good mood and seemingly-endless patience.

I'm trying really hard to do right by you guys and if nothing else, I hope that you guys can look at Ray's post from today and know that the feedback I've been gathering from you great bunch of people didn't just get in the hands of our leads, but it went into the hands of our LEADER.

You guys are swell and I want you to know that I wouldn't do this type of sacrifice my personal life to tweet and converse for ANY other community. This collection of people is special to me.

Hugs,
Jess

P.S. I might soften my line about discussing BioWare on my personal channel, but it's been really nice to talk to some of you guys about puppies and dinosaurs for awhile :)

Nah its good manners to reply to a thread about yourself. Your why we made the thread :P

It might be best to not use your personal twitter account right now for bioware related stuff. At least till this whole issue is fixed or ignored and a worst case scenario happens. Just post on the forums so that your personal twitter can be left alone.

 That would be neat. The question though is if there is going to be an ME4.

I would buy that DLC too, if at least 50% of it went to her and the rest of the team who have so diligently hearing the fans

Hey there,

I feel like I'm late to the party, but hey, you know, maybe you'll check this thread more than once, right?

Jessica, I know some of us have been...well, frankly, pretty paranoid. You know we're upset (lord, don't you know it,) but no matter how upset we are, there's never any excuse for treating you Bioware folks any less professionally and politely than we obviously expect to be treated by you, and have, in fact, been treated..

So I want to thank you personally for taking the time and energy to interact with us. You went above and beyond your job description, and I hope that when this whole mess is over, we'll be able to remember that a little more easily. I want you to know, too, that no matter what people have read into your words and actions, you handled yourself well.

Cheers.

Jessica, you have been brilliant. Thank you. I am really sorry that you've been stressed out over this. Personally I'm doing my best to keep all feedback about the ending constructive and informative, and I know a lot of others are too. I regret that some of those who aren't doing this are causing you some suffering. Thanks for continuing to interact with us and for doing a great job as Community Queen!

I am firmly in the retakemasseffect-hatedtheending camp but I like to think that most if not all of my posts have been firm yet constructive about my dislike of the ending and what I feel is the problem.

And the vast majority of the many THOUSANDS of people who disliked the game ending felt, and acted the same as me.

Loved the game, hated the ending. Spoke about it in a constructive, polite, and firm manner. To demonstrate to Bioware that we love them but we don't feel the ending was acceptable.

Unfortunately there has been a small group of people on here, on twitter, and on Facebook that have not been constructive or polite. Or even just firm. These people have just been outright nasty.

And throughout all this controversy Jessica Merizan has pretty been the "public face" of Bioware; and thus had to deal with the brunt of the criticism and vitriol.

So I just wanted to say in light of the official apology from Dr Muzukya (if not any official confirmation on any changes forthcoming) that I feel that we all should thank Jessica for how awesome she has been during this whole thing.
Because she totally has been awesome.

So thank you Jessica for being awesome about our complaints (constructive or not); about making a real effort to understand us and where we were coming from when so many others didn't even seem to be trying (even Casey Hudson didn't seem like he really got what the whole ending thing was about if his press releases were anything to go by), and some "journalists" being openly derisive and nasty about us; and for at least coming off like you got us.

I agree. Thank you, Jessica.

Jessica,

I can't agree with the vast majority even more. You've toughed it out and deserve the geek praise. If possible, please remind Bioware et al that the people upset are true and loyal fans. We have loved their games and have supported them for years (decade for me).
Thank you for your sincere words and remember to hold the line.

Agree. It's nice when someone from the company can engage you without getting overly defensive, even when we as the customer are getting pissy. It's the difference between good and awesome customer service.

And despite what some people think, that Bioware actually plans to respond to the feedback in a tangible way is amazing. I don't think that they can make everyone happy, given the wide diversity of opinion of so many details, but it's great that they'll try to tackle some of it.

Jessica, the real fans of Bioware really appreciate you and I, being in that group really want you to know you're greatly appreciated as well. Bad ending or not Bioware is sill my favorite gaming company. No amount of ignorant and disrespectful fans can change that.

While I haven't seen a lot of Jessica Merizan's activity on the forums (likely because the threads speed by haha), but any Bioware employee or moderator who's weathered this storm deserves a great deal of respect and gratitude.

I think sometimes folks forget that the people responding on the forums are not the cause of the ire, have to take the brunt of it, and are limited to what they can say about a lot of things. Being a Customer Experience Analyst and a third tier escalations manager, I know how very brutal and painful being the front face and sympathetic ear can be. I like the OP's sentiment very much because it shows civility and appreciation for what these folks are going through....for us.

Thank you Jessica for your sincerity and due diligence. It is much appreciated. If only I could say the same for some of us. We who were confused/disliked the endings while loving the rest of game who are trying to show it while still being respectful salute you.

Regardless, Bioware is still my #1 company I want to work at as my art career evolves.

Jessica,

I know that I and most of us  have been harshly critically and rightfully  so, we as customers and fans are very upset.  Yet, this is by no means is personal  against you, we know you work hard, we know you  doing you best.  Still right now, there is alot that we can not believe  true or not until it proven. Everything  that Bioware says at  this point has to be taken on our end with a grain of salt  given how this whole situation arose, quotes made in the media and pre-release adveristing that being said.

I have no personal grip with you, you are in a tough positon,  there is not much you can know and answers you can't give because you  don't. This  I understand  and even empthize with... I work over the phone customer support.. for Comcast.

Just take care of yourself and try not to let this whole fiasco get you down, hopeful this gets resolved soon and both sides can come amicable  understanding.

Thanks for all the hard work. Rest easy .
