Gotta give a lot of credit for her job, especially in these dark times.

Whatever BW decides to do or not do, Jessica Merizan has handled a cruddy situation with real class. She's mature, measured, and empathetic.

She absolutely deserves a Krogan Cake.

And combat pay. Just sayin'.

She's never responded to my feedback and no, I've never been rude to her on twitter...

Surely u arent that arrogant?

Someone just posted that she was getting 1000+ tweets per day. It's a lot to keep up with...

Forgive me if my lack of twitter experience has let me down but it says she has 6566 tweets, does your tweet count go down over time or has she only been tweeting for 6 and a half days? As I said before, I have absolutely nothing against her, she has a sh*tty job at the moment, a lot of her work is behind the scenes.... but don't exagerate it to the point of putting her on a pedastal.

She is getting +1000 tweets a day, not writing +1000 tweets a day. She can't possibly answer all of them.

Just my added endorsement to this thread and my thanks to Jessica. She always comes across as a "class act."

Great job in a difficult situation; maybe it's just PR but she seems to actually care.

And throughout all this controversy Jessica Merizan has pretty been the "public face" of Bioware; and thus had to deal with the brunt of the criticism and vitriol.

She has prettily been the "public face"? Methinks thou dost presume too much, sir! A lady of refinement, as Ms. Merizan undoubtedly is, would never accept so base a compliment!

Jessica seems nice. What else is there to say? I don't do the Twitter or the Facebook or wherever else it is that all these people go, so I know none of those hateful words were mine.

She was nice in her response to my tweet. I like Jessica and think she's awesome for being the brunt of all the rage when no one else at BioWare dared. Doesn't mean I'll back down from telling BioWare at large that the endings are abjectly incorrect, though.

OK then, but what does that have to do with how much work she is doing? It's obvious that there is a lot of fan feedback. I wonder how many tweets Casey Hudson is getting, is that a good metric to judge his community response?

And it shows that twitter is not the biggest social medium. There are well over 1000 posts per hour on the BSN, and many of them are much longer.

Of course that's not the only thing she's doing. I doubt her job description mentioned only "sit and tweet all day". I was only pointing out that it's kind of silly to expect her to answer all of our tweets.

Yeah, sorry I just misread the original remark thinking that it was being used as an argument to the overall thread.

I just see what she says as simply PR. All she does it detracts from someone having criticism. She does not really say anything at all. I am tired of companies just speaking in PR instead of talking like a human being.

She does not speak like a human being just someone paid to do PR. She did the standard write allot of words but say actually nothing tactic. Sorry but I cannot respect anyone who just spins things. That is why I don't have respect for anyone at Bioware.

If they talked like a person and said something real instead of PR I would respect them. It does not matter what kind of person she is in real life. The things she says are all fake PR statements. For me to respect someone they have to own the mistakes the company made not try and trivialize them.

Welp, she shut down her twitter feed...

https://twitter.com/...598815294033921

Can we all chill out and stop flaming the people that are trying to relay our thoughts to the devs? Seriously, this hurts what we want and gives her way more stress than warranted.

Thank you, Jessica. You're a sweetheart and based on your tweets it looks like you really DO want to talk to us, and we understand that you have to be silent because it's not up to you. Thank you, and I'm sorry for all the flak you're getting.

Nice touch :)

She's one of the few I would thank from bioware at this point in time. But still after such an insult that is considered to be a good ending by ign and other trolls I cannot nor will not forgive untill this situation is fixed. No company is allowed to collectively pull down there pants and take an astronomical **** on customers.

So thanks jessica for being a champ. But only you.

Here's her post from the Bioware PR thread:

Jessica Merizan wrote...

Just so you guys are aware, my Twitter account will no longer be a place to discuss BioWare (at least for now). If you're following me there and that's the only reason, I suggest unfollowing me.

I will also be changing my interactions with fans on the BSN to a role that is more moderation focused and less engagement focused. Thanks to those of you who have provided wonderful conversations.

Lastly, despite what someone indicated on an earlier page, I am not a salaried employee. I am paid hourly. It's a good job, but I'm not being paid to engage with the community at 3AM. I did it because I thought it was helpful. I'm sorry that it wasn't.

I think shes serious. Guys the constant flaming and being rude as hell is burning CRITICAL bridges to tell the devs what we want out of this.
