Never wanted spoilers and I still trusted Bioware... although Dragon Age 2 damaged that trust.
ME 3 made me concerned enough to come here and see if they admit they made a mistake and what they were going to do about it. Now I know, refuse to admit the massive plot hole Mass Effect 1 and 2 killing Star Child is a massive mistake.

After I spoiled myself the ending then my rate of posting went up rather significantly.

In retrospect, the horrible ending was a good PR move for BioWare.

The above rule is quite simple. 90% of consumers will passively engage
in the product through consumption (such as playing a video game). They
might lurk on forums or read articles. 9% of these people will take it a
step further and actively engage in discussions and talk.
She's right. This isn't something new, it's been proven by other companies. As for me, i've been here since BG days on each and every Bioware forum. I only would read. I only started posting when people trashed DAO, DA2, ME3 when they didn't deserve it. so consider me part of the majority which I already knew

AFTER the ending I'm spending even more time on BSN than facebook. I know, crazy, but true story.
It's like I've become addicted to looking for the smallest bit of info, in hope of rationalizing this completely unprecedented irrational behavior of Bioware; it's so bad, that being owned by EA doesn't even suffice anymore.
It's that bizarre.
So, VOTE everyone!

I avoided the forums while I was playing the game, because I didn't want any spoilers, I wanted to come to each situation, each decision fresh. I had, however, still heard rumblings of discontent around the internet, and so knew that some people were not happy with the ending. I remember wondering how any end to this game could possibly be bad enough to ruin so wonderful a game. Well, now I know. Those ten minutes of complete dross almost eliminated my borderline obession with replaying the game over and over with different characters. What's the point of doing things differently if you always get the same ending and your choices could for nothing?
ugh. I could rant for hours, I really could. Anyway, yes, I'm a lurker, and I hate the ending
