The frequent moments that Jennifer Hale shows vulnerability and doubt in ME3. Goosebumps.

Every line that pours from Jack's pretty face. Jack is a larger-than-life character, and Courtenay Taylor does a wonderful job.

Jennifer Hale, Mark Meer and Brandon Keener all absolutely nail Garrus's final goodbye. In a game filled with emotional moments, this one gets to me the most.

Hahaha, yes, probably the hardest I laughed out loud playing any of the three games.

...Wait, no, it's Blasto 6. I sat in the Citadel Commons and listened to the entire thing, laughing the whole way.

I always loved Mordin's voice. Pretty much his entire script made me giggle or cry.

I had no idea until I read on here that he's done by a different voice actor in ME3. Mark Meer does a great job of matching the intonation of Michael Beattie from ME2.

Some of my favorites from ME3

"You did good son, you did good" was as touching as a single line can get

Samara's final line on the Citadel if you tried to romance her in 2 also really struck me was really touching because I was not expecting it "Spend these moments with those who love you most" or something like that

"He is wrong, dead reapers is how we win this thing" I really liked this line by Hackett because he says it without hesitation and with a lot of character.

Also liked Kaidan's dialogue about regret in the citadel, then he hitted on my male Shephard and I was really confused not being aware that he had "expanded" his preferences since ME1, I don't think he talked to me again (until the final goodbye) after I turned him down which is disappointing since he was always one of my favourite characters.

Mordin's "Not yet...not...yet" was really moving if you betray him

and finally anything Liara said! there where a lot of Liara lines I really liked but no specific one comes to mind right now, I might post some once I can bring myself to start a new playthrough on insanity

Well I liked the voice acting of both Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer. But I agree on what good acting can bring. Seriously, good acting is good acting. The Illusive Man was a great antagonist. A hero is only measured up to the conflict s/he faces and antagonists play a great deal.

I really like that little laugh Grunt does. That "Heh. Heh. Heh." It's adorable.

"I don't have what you do - that fire that makes someone willing to follow you into hell itself."
-Miranda Lawson (Yvonne Strahovski) - ME2

If it were just me? You risked your own life to save the colonists on Feros two years ago - nobody else could have saved them. I watched your face as Lt. Alenko died on Virmire. I've watched you stand strong against everything the galaxy threw at you and I'd never imagined you'd see anything past...this.
Tali Zorah (Ash Stroka) - ME2

(this shouldn't count but whatever)
"Death closes all. But something air the end - some work of noble note may yet be done. Not unbecoming men who strove with gods.
Ashley Williams (Kimberly Brooks) - ME2

"Are ants anymore aware then we are? Of gods that walk above them?"
Kaidan Alenko (Raphael Sbarge) - ME1

"One man. One very specific man - might be all that stands between humanity and the greatest threat of our brief existence."
Illusive Man (Martin Sheen) - ME2

"It's pointless to challenge me, asari. I know your every secret while you fumble in the dark."
Shadow Broker (Steve Blum?) - ME2

Kolyat: The prayers aren't for him. They're for you.

Thane goes out like a bad ass and we get that nice little ending. Freaking great.

Ashley reciting Invictus in the Citadel hospital, her romance dialogue, her hangover dialogue and her farewell scene. The level of emotion and nuance in Kimberly Brooks' voice indicates a deep understanding of the character she voices.

Mark Meer's Shepard voice was also the best it's been, particularly his emotional moments. The Steve line was particularly well delivered, even though he and my Shep were just bros.

And Freddie's voicing of James completely made the character. Moments of short, clipped formality, integrated with slang and humour. Absolutely brilliant.

Any renegade option by Mark Meer in Mass Effect 1, his wooden delivery made everything all the more funnier.

Vega: "Hey Liara, you ever find any dinosaurs digging round down here?"

(Jump)

Liara: "Oh, you were just joking."

Vega: "Hey, I just like dinosaurs."

Not exact, but it was funny as hell.

Pretty much anything with Jennifer Hale. She always adds such emotion into her voice, and uses the RIGHT emotion for the scene (a huge bonus to all voice acting, it kills me to hear monotone actors or voice overs that have the completely wrong attitude for what's going on). She does everything so well, from the frisky flirting to the romance scenes, from vulnerability to anger, from sobbing to comforting... I don't think I can recall a single moment where she gave off the wrong tone for the lines or situation. Some may call her overemotional, but I think that adds an element of humanity to FemShep. Not dissing Mark Meer in any way, by the way.

Of course, all the voice actors are pretty amazing throughout the series, they add such a level of realism to their characters. I think the only person I ever had moments of not liking was Liara, a lot of scenes had her using a completely irrelevant tone to what was going on. I just passed this off as a character thing, though, but it does still bug me.

Particular scenes? Tough one...

"My name is Garrus Vakarian and this is now my favorite spot on the Citadel!" - Garrus

"I lied. I didn't just come here for a quick drink." - Kaidan. Okay, really, I love just about all of Kaidan's romance lines. I'm biased, but that voice...

"It's a taxi, it has a fare meter!" - Liara, I love the exasperation in her voice.

"Oh, I can dance." - Shepard

And pretty much the entire cut dialogue between Shep and Anderson. I could keep listing these, but then I'd never stop...

If i recall, that's Mordin's line when you keep the sabotage secret.

I don't know for sure since I revealed the sabotage ASAP.

Maybe Im stupid or whatever, but theres one short sequence that I thought stood out regarding the voice acting and thats during the farewell scene with jacob over the comm.
Im baffled over this, because i dont even like the character but the line spoken synced with the animations just makes it powerful and real, unlike many other voices/animations.
Anyway the line Im talking about is "Theres this great little bar in Rio, we have to check out", man this sounds so sincere, watch it yourselves

Anything Mordin says, someone else might have gotten it wrong :P I think Vega's acting was great, totally didn't expect to hear that from Freddie Prince Jr, I've never seen him play a tough guy. Hackett and Anderson were standouts in this game as well, especially Anderson's final dialogue, perfect.

Everything else was great as well, but those mentioned above were the standouts for me.

Javik *cold stare* "...they use to eat flies"

Grunt: "Thanks for getting me out of that tank."

Mordin: "I made a mistake" (I didn't choose the renegade version of that scene, but was very impressed with how it was done)

Mordin: "Someone else would have gotten it wrong."

Garrus: "we held a tie breaker in her quarters. I had reach and she had flexibility"

Maleshep in Me3 "You....BIG...STOOOPID....JELLYFISH...."

Liara: "Well I did just write your name in the stars"

Jack: "Everyone knows you can't dance Shepard!"

Joker: "This was all Joker's fault...what a tool he was...I have to spend all day computing Pi now because he plugged in the overlord"
